Maggie’s What does a tattoo say about you?

Maybe I need to get out more, but in this case I can live with not having seen these. I guess the novelty -- to my innocent eyes -- struck me as funny.

Fuck the tattoo, homeboys not wearing a belt. How the hell do you go through the day without a belt on? Also, whats the deal with the barcode on his britches?

Those are uniform company jeans. We used to have them in my former life as a production machinist. Ours were Dickies.

By the way, have you got your paperwork done for Fort Gordon?

Dave

Dave,

Yea, I have my paperwork, and a 30 day pass. I was out there the other day, and asked about you. Are you still planning a shoot?

I sent you a PM a while back and didn't get a reply. I still owe you $5.60 for postage. PM me your address so I can drop it in the post today. I hate owing anyone.

The hell I don't. This ain't welfare. :)

I have a piece of AR500 steel you are welcome to use. ~ 25x18 silhouette.

I think they say a lot about you. I am working on getting my sleeve finished, should be done next Friday with any luck. My fore arm is going to be wrapped in an American flag. I feel there are just too damn many Muslim loving, America changing left wing homos in this country and people are too afraid to oppose them. I want everyone to know where I stand:

I am not tring to repel anyone or anything. I guess you would not understand... and I had an AW but it didn't fit me very well.

That is very cool that you don't want a tattoo and can recognize it.

However what I am talking about is the way our country is changing. In the town I live in Somalian's have been brought in and given housing, food stamps, cars, and free health care for a specific period of time and when that time ran out they were then able to get on welfare and state aid. They are given priority in our school system and allowed to go to the same classes and advance at the same rate with out being able to speak English. The education process for the English speaking kids (AKA Americans) is greatly hindered. They protested during Christmas because the decorations the town put up were offensive. If they are in the hospital and there is not a room with a window facing East someone (who probably has insurance or is paying out of pocket) is moved. The menu in our schools and in the hospitals have been altered to be pork free. These are not rumors they are facts that myself and friends deal with on a daily basis. The fact of the matter is when this country elected a President who would not salute our flag during his campaign nor would he wear it on his lapel says a lot about where we are heading. We now have Al Jazeera TV, whats next?

So I am not trying to repel Muslims but rather let them know that this is America and I am DAMN proud of being an American. I will fly my flag with pride until the day I die. That is what it is all about...

jbell, that tat looks awesome. Not sure what the rest of it is, but the flag is certainly cool.

Hey, thanks it is a worn in progress. Hopefully to be all done in a few days, but my guy likes to say "come back in a few weeks and we can touch it up" haha. The other is a big skull with an E.G.A. on its forehead with an American flag bandana wrapped around its mouth and nose, that is on my inner bicep. The other on the outside is a big cover up that has flames, a TRG with a silencer, a Marine skull with cover on, a large Mil Dot reticle all mixed up. Basically a bunch of crap put together...

Tat's dont make you a good or a bad person. You make you a good or a bad person. I have them but you would never know it or even suspect it.

I have several friends with tats. I don't believe they really say anything good or bad about these individuals. Me? I've never been smart enough to figure something out that I would want to have on my body for the rest of my life...

But you only get one! thats why i got ink

My wife saw some one with a Chinese character tattoo. It was a character that meant piss bucket. We got a laugh out of that. Moral of the story is white guys shouldn't get Asian tattoos.

I knew a guy that had a Asian character tatted in the back of his head. The running joke was the character meant "taken by another man". LOL

Only have one, at the moment at least. I'm not sure what she would do if I got another yet. Got it 10 years ago as soon as I was able. I drew up the twin towers with a waving American flag behind them. Never forget over the top with 9-11-01 under it. That day was my Pearl Harbour and changed me. It has the same effect on me now as it did back then. To look at me you would never suspect I have ink, and its hidden from day to day life, but I don't regret it one bit. In the event I can have another done that means as much to me as that one, I will. I never understood the stupid shit people put on themselves though.

Thanks shadysmitty, I had a bit more work done on it yesterday. I only have to get the white in the stars and maybe a touch up here and there and it will be done. Here are a few pics of it now (its still a little red from the fresh work):

jbell that looks like it turned out real good and you had a good artist also. I see some good ol' AMERICAN PRIDE!!

Thank you, he is very good but has a very heavy hand HAHAH. He (Jason Chapman owner of Hallowed Ground in Scarborough Maine) did 99% of the work on that arm.

and yes I do have a LOT of pride in my country!

Sweet work. I have a dragon in water on my left bicep, from shoulder to elbow. Stlll a work in progress. Those who don't have ink question why and what it means.

Cserv, that is very true and is also good to go at the same time. I have no problem with someone not liking it or not understanding it. For me it is just very personal...

Jbell, awesome ink. Mine too, is a work in progress spanning many years. (Touch up, expansion, etc.) I still have a lot to go and some of the old part isn't as good as it was done overseas but I want to leave it for personal reasons. Here's from a recent trip.

Shooter very nice!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Semper Fi brother

Thanks brother. It's a work in progress and will eventually go down to about half way down my forearm. Crazy, but my pal that has done the newer/best parts is in DC so I have to pop in and see him when I pass through. Interesting some of the looks you get when people see your ink. I got an old pal in your neck of the woods. Wade Ward. Eer heard of him by chance?

Your artist definitely gets it!

Semper Fidelis!

i have a few, i don't give a fuck what it says about me, i got them for me not anyone else. Don't like em? don't look

If everybody had tattoos their meaning would suffer. In fact this is already true to a point. They are not for everyone. I have Tattoos that are 30 years old and some that are lots newer. Every one means something to me and about me. I have been into the same stuff all my life. I wear the same type cloths have the same friends will always own weapons even ride the same Harley. Those who refuse to even think about getting ink are followers keeping their options open to change their lives to conform to others . This is a good thing. Tattoos are not for them. Not everyone knows who they are .That's what fads are for. Sheep keeping up with the flock. That said the only thing worse is the poser that gets ink in a place they can hide so they can fit in with the other sheep and be weekend bad asses. Grow up and get some balls you are worse then those that have no ink at least those people know who they are. Do not get me wrong just because you don't have ink I am not saying it makes you any less. I just hate to think the reason for not getting one is that you are willing to change your views rather that defend them.

73MCRD, your likely talking to jbell right? I got old parts overseas and new parts in DC from a great guy named JAYC.

Joe and fnar; I echo jbell's thoughts bc concur with both you.

Waka, GEEZ, there have been so many times in life I could use your tat!! Your mom must be a great character.

I have a 2 women names tattooed . Mom and Darling . Mom for my Mother the first and the best woman I ever met. Darling is for all the women past ,present and future avoids calling them by the wrong name at the wrong time. Also saves on tattoo space for the important stuff.
