does anybody know if it is even close to possible to purchase the Remington military XM2010? Or the Remington military Modular sniper rifle? or M.S.R?

i believe the PSRP (precision sniper rifle project) was held with the M.S.R and the FNHUSA ballista and a few others but to my knowledge the M.S.R came out on top?

please correct me if i am wrong. thank you.

sorry for not greeting myself, as i could not find the greeting board, if you have one, my name is Jacobson, 32 years of age, this is not my first forum, thank you

Here you go:
Remington Defense

The chasis is a CADEX or very close to one.
The CADEX chassis can be purchased for a remington long action, which the XM2010 is built on.
It would be far cheaper, and you would have a better rifle if you bought the chassis and had a long action built by a reputable smith in .300 WM.

The CADEX stock and RACS are different, but pretty much the same.

Its the best option for a regular guy with money.
Sometimes you can find a RACS floating around that some one is trying to sell, but its rare (kind of like the Magpul lowers). But be prepared to spend your kids college tuition on it ;p

I dont understand why doesnt cadex offer the RACS, essentially their V1. I know that their current chassis is the "V2" with the RACS/xm2010 being"V1". But they would definitely have demand for the V1 with the RACS being unicorn and people out there that want a xm2010 clone. FYI not a fan of how large the buttstock is.

You can purchase a RACS (there was a gold and pawn shop in Tx that had got a couple in, and my Remington rep said if I REALLY wanted one I could get one), but be prepared to spend $4k plus on the chassis. That's APO money.

Pretty sure the V1 had to go away due to the APO lawsuit that they settled. Remington owns the RACS so they cannot make one just like that either. So we get the V2.

We are wrapping up a build that is very similar. It's based on an old Rem 700 in 30-06. It is now a .300 WM with the Cadex chassis, Proof Research carbon wrapped bbl (very similar to the one that just won the sniper match in OR), SWR Specwar, Nightforce, etc.

Here are a couple of links to the project. The first link is a teaser video.

Drake Associates STALKER 300

Gents
Here is the video of the Drake STALKER 300. This weapon has currently been designed and made for members of the military who have been looking for an upgraded variant to the M24E/XM2010. We have a lot of guys calling us and ordering this system in this configuration (some will be appearing at major US Military Sniper Comps this year). Check out the video clip.

Nuttshooter, you made some good points. The current variants of the chassis design are upgraded and more advanced than the original design. The concept of the new designs were to push the chassis further with technology and development. As for the Ashbury suit there was a very small settlement based upon an older technology / design feature that is not even being produced today. The current chassis is somewhere in the version 4+ range as there have been so many developments since the original M24E design for that program. Outside of original appearance, I don't know why anyone would want lesser or original technology.

i like that design so much i made a .22LR clone of it using my Savage MKII F

cost me $400 for a used airsoft chassis. CNC machined. full metal. Licensed by Remington
