Rifle Scopes Kahles GEN 2 w/ MSR 2 Arrived Today

Is there a way to tell Gen i from Gen II scope? Have no idea how long it´s been sitting on the shelf in the shop. Don´t want to end up buying an early model if there´s a better one already.

The MSR-K is only offered on the gen 2 kahles.

That would be one hint :) I´m eyeing a local on-shelf scope with MIL-4 reticle. How do I know it´s the new one?

The newer one has a floating dot in the center of the reticle instead of the standard cross hair I believe.

Ask what the Kahles part number is.
10511= Gen1
10538= Gen2

Check our site or give us a call if you have any questions. We'll set you straight. A gen1 at the right price would be a dang good scope.
Kahles Rifle Scopes

Chris, thank you. It´s actually a 10536 which with the help of your web identifies it as the new model with CW turrets. Got it for 2130 EUR here, that is a terrific price considering the pricing of Premiers or even S&Bs here in Europe (they all run pretty close to 3000 EUR mark anywhere, if you can find some in stock).

Just one thought I haven´t noticed anywhere before - the K624i just makes more sense with CW turrets, since the direction of adding elevation then matches adding distance on the parallax. Small thing, but I´m beginning to like it this way :)

We just got a few of the Kahels 3-12x50mm with the MSRii.

Do you know which one is the Henny ?

I personally think the Kahles was better, but you might need to know which one is which I don't think I ever said...

Going from the Scope, to iPhone to Computer is a bit of a bitch as I was using my iPhone 5 and none of my "through the scope" units support that so the images are pretty inconsistent. Still I thought the new Kahles was better, and you can certainly see the purple everyone hates in the Henny... if people were to compare and they saw the color, it would cause a riot considering the price of the Henny.

Classic LowLight Trap...snared

Would the K624i be able for use on a target at a distance of 10m accurately?
