Ordered some of Norma's match 130 s to try out of my creedmoor. Wanted to see if any on else has tried them and what there recipe was.

I usually shoot 130 bergers but decided why not give them a shot.
My rifle is a Score-high rem 700 with a bartlien barrel. 1/8.5 twist. 26 inch. Charley and the crew build a good shooting rifle.
If this has been discussed I couldn't find the thread.

130 Berger vld
H4350 42.4
2950 fps
Hornady brass
Federal gmm

The tip-to-ogive is shorter on the Norma Goldens than the 130gr Berger; in my 26" 260 I found they ran about 30fps slower than the 130 Bergers at any given charge weight of H4350.

How's the accuracy with the normas? Do you mind sharing your load?

I only shot about 100 of them before I sold the other 400. I did not find 'easy' accuracy with them using H4350 though I admittedly was still a fairly new, impatient reloader. I've though about getting another box and giving them a proper OCW workup.

I will say they seemed most accurate in the 2900fps +/- range.

Hopefully finding accuracy wont be to hard I will post up some results when they come in and I am home. Be a few weeks.
So far my creed hasn't been a picky eater. All have shot moa or better out of it with little effort.
I would like to send them out in th 2900 to 2950 range. We shall see.

I am going to shoot all of them before you get back so you wont have to worry about a good load lol. They are a hair longer and the HP opening is WAY smaller than the bergers. I imagine we will have to seat these bullets deeper into the case to keep the same amount of jump or jam.

If you recently bought them, where did you find them? I've been in contact with the Norma rep via email and was told to expect them in Sept. Last week I contacted him again and now he says all bullets are going to loaded ammo and not to expect them til spring. Pretty shitty for reloaders. They were more accurate and had better ballistics out to 1000 in my rifle than the 140 Amax, but if I can't find them in stock they are worthless. I've all but given up on shooting them and will have to settle for the Amax since Norma can't seem to make enough of these bullets to meet demand.

Better save me a couple. ...... Knew it was a mistake shipping to your house for safe keeping. This pipelining work bullshit is getting in the way of shooting time. Load your welder and come help me get done faster...... More shooting time that way
