Just got my new .338 Edge from Kirby Allen at APS. It has a 28" Lilja with a 1 in 10 twist, #7 contour, with his own brake. Manners MCS-T stock, Wyatt extended box mag, Gre-Tan striker assembly. Leupy VX-III LR/T 8.5-25X50 held by Nightforce Ultralite rings sitting on a Badger 20 MOA rail. Trying to decide on what color to make her. Any suggestions? Living in the Az desert. Haven't finished breaking in the barrel yet. Kirby's range test put three shots into 2.4" at 650yds. Load looks to be 92gn. of Retumbo behind a 300gn. SMK, fired by CCI-250 primers.

No engraving. Just ".338 EDGE" on one side and "ALLEN PRECISION" on the other. Don't have any close ups, but will see what I can do. 10FP, not only does Kirby do outstanding work, he is a topnotch guy as well.

I also have an APS Edge and its very similar to yours only I have a 30" tube, one of Shawn's brakes and an Sendero II stock.

It shoots very well and I'm looking forward to whacking some deer in a month or so.

Mine throws a 300 SMK @ 2824 with 92 grains of H1000.

Kirby is a stand up guy.

Nice looking stick.

I am going to have to try that load as I keep seeing it pop up as peoples go to load. Are you loading to mag. length or are you loading single? Worst part if it shoots better than the Retumbo, I have an 8lb. canister of the Retumbo.

I have the Wyatt's so 3.775" is my COAL.

I'm not sure H1000 will shoot any better. I had already bought 8lbs of H1000 and didn't do much experimenting with Retumbo. I am going to though.

All super accurate and a pleasure to shoot because of his own muzzle brakes
 
Hey gain twist, I bet he doesn't need the scope. He probly needs another barrel because the one on there is probly shot out seeing how he posted that in 2008! Haha just picking with ya!
