Hey guys,

I would like to give a shout out to Layton, for being generous enough to loan me one if his TRG bolts. Thanks Layton.
This has allowed me the time to build the fixtures needed to flute these bolts in the Vortex style. Thanks for checking it out and let me know what you think.

Regards,
Paul

Looks great, Paul. Thanks for being the Guinea pig, Layton! And we'll need to see some pics of it installed in your M995

Paul, what's the cost for doing Sako bolts, and does this mean you can now also offer your other fluting styles on Sako bolts?

Thanks

All the Sako bolts that I offer are priced at 125.00. This includes the Sako 75/85 and the TRG. These 3 lug bolts are much harder to set up for fluting as the flutes have to be timed with the Sako extractor.

"The bolt handle must be removable to do the fluting".

At the moment the fluting style is limited to the Vortex configuration. Thanks for all the positive feedback that I have received. It is appreciated.

Regards,
Paul

really nice work Paul. quick question: is that bolt knob the standard plastic one that comes on the trg, or is it something different? I kind of wish the trg had a solid bolt knob, or at least the option to change it out.

This bolt knob is solid steel that has been blued. Layton would be the man to ask about the bolt knob options.

Thanks, Paul

That's a factory M995 handle. Here's another one I'm about to send Paul. I got these handles and knobs from a gentleman here on the Hide. (I'm looking for his contact now.) He can make the handles that will screw into the bolt then you just choose the knob you want and roll. You don't have to use his knobs but he has a pretty good selection. I got a couple of his knobs with holes for case inserts so I can keep track of which bolt goes with which rifle quickly/easily. Bad pics but will give you an idea.
