Suppressors Form 4 Wait times from ATF - PDF as of 123113

It's rather curious how the NFA branch is the one and only branch of government that doesn't want to hire more employees. Similarly curious it is how taking money from someone and not giving them anything for over 6 months is usually considered mail fraud for everyone else except them.

Thanks a lot for the PDF. I submitted a Form 4 today. Hopefully since I submitted it electronically it might be a little faster. But I was thinking worse than 9 months, so that isn't too bad.

9 months, what a bunch of horseshit.

After you've gone through the goatrope the first time, MFers should allow point-of-sale.

But then again we've beat that horse to death many times before...

I really need then to get that back down to the norm of 6 months. That's sad because I remember when turn around was 30-60 days :(

I guess I can't complain considering I just submitted 2 suppressors a few months ago and at the time was hearing that my wait was gonna be around 15 months.

I'm waiting on CLEO signature on 2 form 4's (22 and 30 cal cans). I was also told it could be 14-15 months once submitted and I sure hope that ATF estimate is more accurate. I'd be tickled if I got them back in Sept., rather than sometime in 2015. Still, bunch of bullshit they cant move these thru faster than that.

Does anyone know if these approximate wait times are from the check being cashed, 1st pending or ?

My checks were cashed March 28th. The stamps should hopefully be here soon!

from pending

The ones going out the door in Dec had been in ATF's hands 9 months. New forms are projected to take longer than 9 months. Much longer.

I've got paperwork at my CLEO to get signed for 2 cans but I am tempted to put them in my LLC and e-file them if it's a shorter wait.
