Does anyone do it? If so, what solution do you use? How many cycles? How do you dry it? I'm considering a TBAC 30P-1. I have read their recommendations. How fouled do you let it get? Say I put 1000rds through it a year, as it fouls, would POi worsen? Do they really run more silent the more dirty they get? Can I wear a 30P out?

If all this has been beaten to death, then just make fun of me and post boobie pics

You probably cannot wear one out.

Some powders foul a lot worse than others. H1000 is particularly bad. We recommend cleaning it if it gets 3-5 ounces heavier than new. If you get past this point the longer you wait the longer it will take to clean.

"CLR" or vinegar/peroxide are both good, and do not require the use of an ultrasonic cleaner. Always be careful with what comes out of the suppressor because it is toxic (lead compounds).

I have the hornady magnum cleaner with the hornady brass cleaner solution. Its got two transducers and cleans brass well. I use (2) 10 min cycles. I rinse in the sink with a strainer and set the brass out in the sun for a few hours.

I've done several cans in the Hornady ultrasonic. They come out well.
Recipe:
distilled water - dump enought water in to cover can completely.
put in a couple tablespoons of Lemon juice
1 tsp of dawn dish soap, works best.

Then just give it a run of 45 min on hot temp.

Rinse in the sink with water, shake as much out as you can. Then you can either do it over again with new water or throw it on the counter to air dry or put it on a heat vent over night and you'll be good to go.

I have had paint peal off of one can while doing this process. so be advised.

I'll have to try the vinegar/peroxide just for the heck of it.

Make sure your 30p1 is going to fit inside the sonic cleaner.

Like they say...Measure twice, cut once.

Just keep in mind that the ultrasonic bath will most likely destroy your nice black exterior finish on anything you put in it.... Ask me how I know lol
