The planets finally aligned and Robert let me stay at his place so we could knock out my 300 Win Mag build. Robert is a phenomenal guy and a fantastic gunsmith. This rifle turned out perfect and I can’t thank him enough! I have tons of pictures and I will add more as I go through them. Thanks for looking!

Very nice - Robert is a great guy & builds a hell of a rifle!!

How are you liking the BAT action?? I have one ordered am anxiously waiting for it.

I'm waiting on pins and needles to get "the" call from Mr. Gradous saying he's starting or just finished my switch-barrel!

Congratulations Clay!! That sure is a fine looking and shooting rifle you guys built! I bet you had one hell of a time down there with Mr. Gradous, he really is a GREAT guy to hang out with...

That is amazing. Taking a trip down there and building a new rifle with him is on my bucket list. Hopefully it will work out for me some day. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics.

Awesome rifle Clay.. I am not used to seeing you with a long action! I am looking forward to seeing it in person, and the aiax.

Nice rifle!! I really Enjoyed working with Mr Gradous , he turns out a heckuva rifle and his hospitality was tremendous. Good times!!

Very nice rifle Clay, hope you enjoy the BAT, they are as good as it gets.

Between this, the vanilla gorilla, an the Surgeon/Sentinel 6XC, I think I hate you...in the best way possible.

That is a fantastic rifle sir. Any reason for going 24" instead of 26+"?

Love it Clay, I'm glad you decided to go with the Woodland camo. You taking it on your LR hunt this year?

Clay, my friend, that is one ugly ass looking rifle! I think you should give it to me and let me pretty it up some. Then again that 6XC is pretty dang ugly to. So, you should give them both to me ;)! Seriously though, nice build. Can't wait to see it in person!

Buckey: The BAT seems very nice. Its very smooth and the machining is great. It made Robert remember to order one.

18Echo: I think I saw your parts. I got jealous and switched your barrels with someone else's. Just kidding.

Jables: Don't worry, this rifle also has my personal nickname of Vanilla Gorilla! I was planning on doing a 26 but made the game time decision of doing a 24. It still flings the 208 AMAX and hopefully the big Bergers when I can find some.

    Back at home!

When you are at Robert's you never know who might see. Jered Joplin (American Precision Arms) spent some time at Robert's while I was there. I have always admired his work and it was great to meet him. I hope to have him build me something in the near future!

    As always, thanks for looking!

Thanks for the pics sir. Pretty sweet experinece to say the least. The .300 wm turned out perfect in my eyes.

Very nice rifle. I'm glad you had the pleasure of building a rifle with Robert. It's a priceless experience.

That's pretty cool he will let you come hang out and build with him. Most guys don't like that!

Are you running the 338 or 7.62 suppressor on the 300?
