Rifle Scopes Spuhr mount with SB PMII 4-16

Anybody running this setup? I Put the scope in the mount and it just barely fits. I mean like a mm of room in front of the illumination turret and none in the front of the tube where the bell begins. Anybody have this set up. Is it problem?

I have that combination on a "vintage" (2003) Sig SSG 3000. The Spuhr doesn't leave a great deal of envelope to move the scope if your eye relief is a problem. Fortunately, it is just about right for my eye (McMill stock) so it proved to be fine. I might add, it is an amazingly accurate rifle with a very fast bolt.
I bought an AI AX since then and just went with AI mounts. Tough to beat......
