Punch list for repairs

I just did a giant permission reset 1:52PM MST ....

it looks like it fixed it a lot of it, at least from a control panel side, see what errors you get now...

PX looks to be correct now too
 
Must be something on my end, to which I wanna smash this computer through the wall. I can't for the life of me, log out. No matter how many times I click on "log out" I am always logged in. So obviously I have something set somewhere about "always keep logged in" or some-such-crap, but I can't remember where that is, or how to find it.

I guess throwing this computer out, and buying a new one (blank) is the only way to make progress in this world. Or one need to go to school to be a computerologist to get by with these damned-fool-idiot-box/game/thingamabob's.

But I'm not bitter. Frustrated as all hell, but not bitter.

Ya'll see what happens when you don't have a clue what you're doing? Time for more trigger-thereapy. At least THERE is something I can do, somewhat well.
 
Still the same error for me subscribing to a forum. Logged in from a different browser on my phone this time since I'm not in front of my pc.

You just have a bad setting, you can go into your settings and clear the cache and clear the browser history that should log you out

Frank, at the suggestion and behest of others here, a long time ago, I actually AM using FireFox. Arrrrgggg.

And no, I don't visit porn sites, either.

At your suggestion right there, under Tools, then Options, then Privacy I was able to clear cache. Let's see if that made the trick, right there. (maybe there's a different 'settings' somewhere,,, I dunno).

And YES.... that did the trick. Thanks for that. Really, thanks.

No idea, I reset them and it is working perfect for me with my test account

Try a different browser to see if it's a bad browser setting blocking the cookies. I can see the permissions are good on the back and globally reset them and with my test account using a basic log in, it's working
 
I've used two different browsers on two different computers plus two browsers on my iPhone. Same message from all.
 
I will double check the permissions again ... did you log out and back on since I made the changes ?

Also if you are sending me endless messages about "Updating your post count" but not one of the mentions what you are post count is, I am just deleting it..> I have no fucking clue what your post count at Scout is, and its not my job to find it ... If you just say, Post count 135 that is all I need, but if I have 5 message that say, Hey man how do I get my post count updated... well fuck you you don't
 
The Shout box is an add on, it actually would have been installed already but the server guys changed a number on the FTP account and I didn't realize it and gave the one we'd been using for all this other work.

But theses are Mods that have to be bought separately and I generally pay to have them install it.

I also added an enhanced Like Button that includes a "DISLIKE" button :)

Ahh cool. I now see HTML options as well. As of earlier I didn't have that drop-down.

The dislike button... excellent. I never understood why Facebook refused to implement a dislike function. I guess to ensure that world of virtual perfectness never gets negativity injected into it.

HTML helps with video for sure... turn it on to convert and you can use the iFrame embed for full size video

Apparently with the level of permissions they added, it's too much to be honest, I have to make sure each box is correctly checked which is annoying as hell
 
Anyway to get a post count to be able to post in the PX section?

I have no idea how many post o had in the other site but not being able to post in the PX is annoying.

My notification header always shows a red square and one even after I cleared it several times and discarded the alert when someone left a message. Stays showing one no matter how many times I clear it.
 
I prefer the old system that attaches your username to the "like".

Maser, Thanks for the opportunity for me to try out the new dislike button. ;-)
 
It will tell you who liked and disliked you as well you have a control panel in the User Setting for all this stuff

The Shout box is on now, the installer left it off for everyone I had to turn it on

I gave ya the full monty. I've actually got two "Likes" to choose from. One them is second from the left in color, the other on the far right, it's in black and white and they both work. Weird.
