Lol I had it in one of my open tabs and now all the stuff is deleted. I was going to read all the cat fighting later
it keeps getting deleted but Frank has been resurrecting it. Its amazing a thread on rings can go 5 pages and cause the drama that it did.
I have been avoiding the thread but given some of the amateur dramatics on display this summer, I am sorry I did not get some popcorn and pull up a deck chair.
Has it really been back up since it was first deleted? Who keeps deleting it?
While I would agree thread had a lot of pissing and moaning within it, it also had lots of useful information included as part of the discussion.
I'll trust someone above my pay grade on this forum will make the appropriate final decision. I'm ok with that too!

It's completely gone from "My Recent Posts".
Sure ain't the old hide, it would have just been locked for all to keep enjoying. I have a suspicion it had nothing to do with anything any members posted, as Franks skin is thicker than that.

As Frank so subtly told you, the OP of that thread deleted it because a SB fan took it as a personal insult that someone would post anything negative about SB, and he attacked the OP with groundless accusations. The OP deleted it, then RE-STARTED it to get rid of the mudslinging and just keep it purely factual/informational. If you look, it is still there. I know this because, a) The OP sent me a PM to inform me of it because I had posted in his thread that one of my SBs was affected the same as his and, b) In the new thread the OP plainly states that he deleted and replaced the old thread for the reasons aforementioned.

I'll second that the ARC rings are top notch and work. Period. I'm taking a wild guess here but I'm going to say because the bottom of the rings aren't split this makes a big difference. Could be fucking wrong though.

It's common, scientifically proven knowledge that split vertical rings actually negate spin drift. If you need to counter Coriolis out past 300 yards, all you need to do is use 2 vertical split rings. I'm not sure why this can't simply be taught at those fancy rifle classes.
Some peoples' children. I mean, whats next? Is someone going to tell me asian chicks no longer have a sideways vagina?
