Well I don't need 1J nagging me to get constipated but it helps.
So where the hell is Waldo now? After last night's Sheep Balls Extravaganza, I have headed for the Scottish Border... just South of Hadrians Wall and near the Roman Fort Museum (great vomitorium and a first-rate Saturday night orgy)... With all my new friends at one of the best pubs ever. I think one of them is Rod Stewart. He thinks he is. I'm not so sure.
So today rode across the Yorkshire Dales and the Pennines. The greatest motorcycling roads I have seen in years. Picture a sidewalk with a 60 MPH speed limit. Cars coming at you. Cliffs on both sides. And sheep on the roads. (I know, that gets some of you all horney-like...). Riding across gorgeous country. With no traffic whatsoever this time of year.
Naturally, I ended up at an artillery range. But that's all good, too.
I'm off to the left yelling "Incoming."
Layby in the Pennines. On one of the WIDER stretches of roads.
Amazing country! Cold and desolate, but at the same time, green and amazing. I love it here! The further North I get, the more gorgeous it is!
So the bean pot joined the trip in London. We went to a pub there and got really shitty service. So my buddies and I liberated this bean pot from the decor.... and felt that it needed a vacation. So I have been taking pictures of it all over England. And am going to return Bean Pot to the pub in a couple of weeks with a photo album of its travels. So far, it has been to two secret installations, numerous great pubs, some war memorials and across almost all of England. By the time it gets home to the USA (Via Canada), it will be a very well-rested and relaxed bean pot and may be able to explain to the staff at the London Pub why you don't treat people like shiite!

Very familiar with the Yorkshire area, was born there in 1954, moved to Australia in 1966. Had to do some work back there recently and some of the roads in the Dales, if a sheep was coming the other way one of you had to reverse, the "roads" were that narrow. Did not find any sheep with reverse gear but did find some that could roll downhill.
