Here's my mod0 that's just about finished. Need a Gasbuster CH to finish the *spec* portion, but it's pretty much there. BCM rifle, Colt A2 stock, SSA-E trigger, OPS-Inc brake etc. Glass is a MR/T illuminated TMR 2.5-8 in ARMS med rings. Sub moa with most anything I feed it. Custom rattle can paint by me and some krylon. 20171024_144644.jpg20171024_225753.jpg20171024_225716.jpg

Correct- it's whatever BCM uses for a barrel. I contacted HCS yesterday on getting the correct Douglas barrel installed. Whatever this one is, it shoots pretty damn well.
Mod1? Meh....

I love everything MK12. For what I do (prone and other bipod target shooting) I think I would prefer the A2 stock with PRI handguard. I'm going to order a Aero precision m16a4 complete lower, slap on a 16" .223 Wylde with either 12.5 or 15" mlok handguard. First AR for me coming in at around just over 800$ foreverything, bcg and charging handle.
I have also considered the B5 sopmod but figure the A2 would ride a bag better. Also I am 6'4" with long arms. Just worried I'm going to regret the A2 and wish I had an adjustable, something like the B5 sopmod.

Does anyone notice extra buffer spring noise with the a2/a1 stocks?

Yes, I have a Mk12 Mod 0 with an A2 stock. I am running mine with an AEM5 suppressor, and with my ear next to the stock, the spring/buffer is about all I hear. I've swapped lowers from one with an adjustable stock/carbine buffer, to one with an A2 stock, rifle length buffer and the A2 is noticeably louder.

Isn't there a JP silent capture spring or something made to get rid of that?
