Hey guys,

I just received my new GAP Precision 6mm, and it has a twist of 1:7.7. I've been doing some searching regarding bullets for reloading, and I'm wondering which Berger would be the best match for this barrel. 26 inch barrel, and I will be shooting it out to about 1000 yards. Thanks in advance for the answers. I tried doing a search, and I did find a bit of information regarding the 105s and the 115s, but I was a little befuddled.

The 105 hybrids shoot great in the GAP team rifle. For me, the DTACs also shoot well and the higher BC makes a difference at 800-1000. I got slightly better accuracy with the 105 Hybrids, but the BC advantage of the DTACs gave me better overall results for long range matches.

Thanks so much for the info!! Do you mind sharing your load data?

For the 105s, I was using 41.7 H4350 and getting ~3100fps, and for the DTACs I was using 41.4 H4350 and getting ~3015fps. This is after the first couple hundred rounds when the barrel sped up, and before about 1000 rounds, when the barrel slowed down.
