I was all kinds of happy for the 3 hrs. and 15 minutes we were on the ground in Goose Bay, Newfoundland (on the way to Desert Shield/Storm). Gave some serious thought to retiring up there.

I didn't. Last time I landed there it was like -4 degrees. Screw that. I'll take FL heat and humidity any day.
