Do they make the 5r in a 7 twist .223, I have only seen the four grove as a seven twist and 5r's as 7.7. It might be something you have to order.

You may be right sir, I'm mainly look for the optimal twist for the MK262 with 77grn OTM and I'd to use a 5r rifled barrel cause I've had awesome results with them before....

Who told you a 7 twist is optimal for a 77gr? That's a short fat bullet and shoots just as accurately out of a 7.7 or 8 twist as it will a 7 and will run a tick faster too.

Plenty of places will have the 7.7's and 8's on the shelf most likely. Core, Bugholes, OTM just to name a few.

I'd suggest posting in the classifieds then and also let people know you want to trade and list trade items you have so that you don't waste one another time when they will most likely think you're looking to buy, just like this thread.

You're far better off selling whatever items you have you don't want and then buying what you want. The chance of finding someone who has exactly what you want, and wants exactly what you have is slim.

5 Franklins delivered.

You might consider it short but It isn't what I would call little. It is a custom Palma style contour. It has a 1.050" diameter neck, and would have an .875" diameter muzzle at 23". It has 8 flutes that stop at 21". The blank is 25" long.

I would really be interested if it wasnt fluted I want to cut it to 22" and I need to put an over the barrel suppressor adapter on it from surefire...

What cartridge are you using?

How much smooth surface do you need in front of the fluting?

There are a few at Bugholes but in 7.7 twist with 5R rifling.......Greg can also cut and flute if you would like that as well
