I just received a TB .22 takedown. I'm using it on my S&W 15-22. Without the suppressor, I'm getting 1 MOA at 25 yards, sight in distance. Once I put on the .22 takedown, the groups open WAY up. Sometimes it's a bullseye, then the next round is 6+ inches in another direction.

What is going on? I'm not seeing any baffle strikes. I'm utterly confused.

CCI 'standard velocity' ammo. Which seems to be great w/o the suppressor.

This is a shot in the dark but if I recall the 15/22 is set up like a typical centerfire 1/2" thread in that is it threaded 1/2 x 28 - .600" or thereabouts, unlike the standard rimfire threads of 1/2 x 28 - .400. I do not know the specifics on the takedown suppressor but if its only threaded .400 deep like a lot of rimfire suppressors, I would imagine that could cause some issues. There are some adapters sold online for this to take up the extra space on the barrel threads and allow the can to shoulder properly.

Again, don't know the specifics on the Thunderbeast but might be worth checking.

I bought and am using the Dead Air ½-28 spacer to take up the gap and square off the mount since I received the suppressor.
