    This shit must stop! It doesn’t look like the gov is going to be doing much, probably about as effective as Mexico was. This is an invasion. If we let this go unchecked we might as well not have a nation of laws, might as well not have a nation at all. I feel for these people but there is a right way. I can’t just go take a ferrari from the dealership because it’s my fucking dream. This is BS and it needs to be dealt with or I am going to call for citizens to join me at the border. Call me whatever you want but we have laws. If the gov can’t deal with this then laws apparently don’t apply anyways.

    Not sure what more Trump can do just now, they're still 900 miles away. He's sending troops to the border and putting pressure on Mexico to stop them. I agree, though, that with two more groups on the heels of the first that it is paramount that the first caravan does not succeed in breaching our border. One thing is for sure, tho, when they eventually get there it's going to be a show.

    If our government doesn’t block the border with Troops for a show of force then I have no idea what could be done. Are they gonna just keep walking even when they see all of the troops?

    What if they do are they gonna open fire on them? NOPE. Let’s just hope they don’t call our bluff and they stop.

    They will cross then be put on buses and sent back across the border. No immunity, no court, no welfare just a bus ticket back to Mex. They only come now because they can stay while they wait for the court date they will never appear for.

    Yes, I imagine the image of childrens' burned corpses after Trump drops napalm on them in another sovereignty will be well received. We would instantly be at odds with every other nation on Earth, Donnie would have 0% chance of reelection (if he wasn't executed for war crimes) and the commies would essentially be handed the reigns without having to spend one of Soros' dollars.

    Me? I'm not sure what you mean. I certainly don't have a death wish. At least a few more decades to watch my kids grow up would be nice, and to be around to ensure that they get to. If my choices are to die in a bloody war or to not, well...I'm gonna go with the latter if at all possible.

    Mooncake, when the mexican police abandoned their roadblock and let the caravan through, that right there is mexico "Aid'n an' Abett'n" and that right there makes them an Enemy of the State(s), doesn't it? Same for any country that helped terrorists. How is this different?

    I'm not an advocate of using napalm. But if they invading army isn't repelled with diplomacy, what options truly exist?

    As far as im concerned then yes, they should open fire whether as a bluff or not. This is no different than an invading force imo. Like I said put uniforms on them and it looks entirely different doesn’t it? Clearly being diplomatic about it has not worked.

    Yeah, it's a problem that needs to be dealt with, but being heavy handed is just going to play into the left's gameplan. The first Guatemalan toddler who get's an eye put out by a rubber bullet is going to be a disaster for Trump, let alone the use of deadly force. Honestly, I don't know what the best game plan is, but it sure as shit isn't killing 4K people while the world watches. I am certainly not advocating letting them in, but it has to be done very carefully.

    Whomever Trump's opponent turns out to be, they're going to be a commie piece of shit. The commies will likely Weekend at Bernie's RBG for another two years and Thomas is rumored to want to retire -- it's pretty fukn important that Trump is reelected.

    I mean don’t get me wrong guys, I feel bad for some of these people, especially the women and children, which is exactly what they want, but we are a sovereign nation with laws. We cannot allow free run of people into our borders no matter who it is. They decided to make the journey, most likely encouraged with money. They were the ones who decided to break our laws and so forth, no different than a criminal stealing exotic cars and getting caught. They made the decision.

    If there really 'were' justice, the people organizing this (and who talked these people into joining their little stunt caravan) would be found and made to pay for their actions. There are, no doubt, a whole crapload of laws being broken... not to mention that if anyone dies, gets sick or injured along the way... the caravan organizers should be responsible.

    This is not just a spontaneous "run for the border." This is an organized, logistically-supported, TV moment, created by a handful of AMERICAN activists and abetted by the media and other entities.

    The only thing I feel bad about is that these people are going to get tossed aside like empty Zima cans the instant they are no longer useful to the far left who is cynically using them to try and interfere with an election. Thousands will be on Mexico's Northern border, homeless, without a country. With no way back to banana land. Unable to pay a Coyote. At the mercy of smugglers, cartels, pimps... you name it.

    It's The Grapes of Wrath, only organized by leftists not fruit growers... and without a benevolent Roosevelt to try and help with a soft landing.

    This is not going to end well for these people. Who should have recognized that, even in Guatamala... if it sounds too good to be true... it probably is!
