I preface this entire conversation by stating my opinion:
Times have changed. Period.
Topic:
I've debated this many times with several associates. Have the days of glass front gun cabinets passed? Are safes the current trend?
I think the answer is easy. I have thousands invested in one rifle much less an entire collection. The last things I'd ever do are:
A. Show everyone.
B. Leave them insecure
I do have one "show" weapon hanging on the wall and consider it a sleeper since most would consider it decor - however it is fully functional should the need present itself.
Do you agree the 'good ole days' are past? Do you display any weapons? Prefer keeping them secure?
ps. Just after posting this, there was a terrible boating accident where all of my weapons were lost.
