He missed every goddamn squirrel we saw yesterday. Not for lack of trying.
I don't care if that is a projo launcher or not. The kid is out there, his dad or grandpa is teaching him something he will never forget. This kid will NOT grow up to be an adult whiner. That is a man in the making.

So you shoot a model 29, that's cute.

I’ve got him telling other crying kids “no whining!” everywhere we go.?

In Jane Fonda's defense (not sure why I'm doing that), I saw an interview with her not too long ago where she basically said, 'I was young & stupid, got kind of caught up in something I didn't fully understand & that's my biggest regret.'

I did some dumb things when I was young... Hell I'd guess if I remain on my current trajectory, I've got plenty more dumb things still to come.

If ya still want to hate her, that's cool, I get it.

I was too young to go to Vietnam. However, during my time in the Air Force I met a lot of former POWs from Vietnam.

They told us how those sadistic bastards tortured them. Just about every POW that I met, except one, was permanently disabled in someway due to the torture. The Hanoi bitch had this to say:

"There are hundreds of American delegations that had met with the POWs. Both sides were using the POWs for propaganda. It's not something that I will apologize for."

So she really hasn't apologized.

Here's the article that quote came from: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/01/jane-fonda-regrets-hanoi-jane

And here's the one I was referencing:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thewrap.com/megyn-kelly-jane-fonda-explains-hanoi-jane/amp/

I understand if you don't want to read it or don't even want to skim it... It could be total fabrication, the lies of some old liberal bitch just tired of being reminded that she betrayed her country...

... Or, perhaps it all got blown WAY out of proportion. Hard to imagine the media doing that, especially during an unpopular war. I dunno, I guess I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. If you choose not to that's cool, I'll still buy ya a beer if I run into you.

With that, back to your regularly scheduled bewbs & such...

I read the article. I've read a lot of articles about her. I also remember meeting a lot of men who suffered at the hands of those sadistic bastards. They were crippled pretty bad because of the sadists.

Has the Hanoi bitch bothered to do anything to help veteran's organizations to show any sort of gesture of good faith and atonement? Not to my knowledge.

There are also plenty of veteran's who were willing to forgive their former enemies. Even some famous POWs. I was not a fan of John McCain but he was willing to forgive the North Vietnamese for how they treated him.

I also recall a documentary of a former guest of the Japanese during WWII express his forgiveness for the way he was treated. He said, "I drive a Japanese car. They build a darn good car." He said basically that it was time to move on.

Louis Zamperini forgave the "Bird" for the way he was treated. So did a lot of others.

Forgiveness is not mitigating the evil someone has perpetrated on you. It's acknowledging that what they did was wrong and that you are not going to hold them accountable anymore. It doesn't mean that you have to trust them or that things will necessarily return to the way they were before. It means that you aren't going to hold a grudge against them anymore.

I say all this because a lot of people would be willing to forgive someone who's hurt them if ever offered a sincere apology.

I can't speak for all those Vietnam Veterans and probably should not be saying this but if she would offer a sincere heart-felt apology for what she did, there would probably be a lot of Vietnam Veterans that would accept her apology - if it were really sincere.

With everything that I've read about her post-war remarks it sounds like she was sorry she got caught rather than for what she did. She has too many caveats and excuses in her so-called apologies.

I think when the public went negative on her, she twisted with the wind... I was young... I was a pawn

Not sure it’s true
Not sure if matters if it was 100% true

I recall first seeing one of these at Rucker in 87
They were in every Air Force latrine when I was on active duty and in the Air Guard.

When Clinton got in office, they had to remove all of them.

I later switched to the Army but don't know if they were in their urinals or not.

I did lots of dumb stuff as a kid...none were treasonous. Don't hate her, she's just another parasite on the scrotum of America. Would like to see justice, but I've lived long enough to know that will never happen.

A big problem in this country is the media affording these twats the ability to back out of situations they created for themselves gracefully.
For every factual bit of information out there, one appearance on "the view" erases the deed. If you say something, or do something, you meant it at the moment. I guess I am glad I've never been able to use the excuse that I was caught up in the moment and not been held accountable.

I worked in a warehouse as a kid

I hated the asshats who would fuck around with me up on the forks

Slide a pallet onto the forks- hopp on- driver raises you up 20 feet to grab something. Then they start shaking the forks

Asshats- even as a kid I knew one could dies that way

I debated between rathing them out and dropping a 36” solid core door onto the cabin

Ended up free climbing down and never trusting another driver again.

Now they have a ton of safety gear- harnesses- decelerators - etc

Still no asshole preventers
