Hi,

Hey OP....you may want to get your ducks in a row. Looks like this is going to get real ugly for you!!!
Their attorney is already on this and filing documents. Already called me.

Sincerely,
Theis

That is so funny accusing one of us as being unstable. RUFF! RUFF! RUFF! That is my other dog imitation.

Interesting that the 'school' went right to his lawyers... while making a libelous statement on one of his students... that he was unstable. Well, that's an interesting one to prove.

One would think that a tier-one and legitimate school would be laying out a case for why they deserve a good reputation... using the opportunity to introduce themselves in a community that is recognized as having some pretty good shooters, especially the HMIFC... and explaining that 'hey, not everyone fits with our course... we're sorry, but here is why we are legit and good.' Every company has people who don't fit with them now and then.... and that's not a negative on the trainers or the trainee....

Right up until someone calls someone else unstable and decides that instead of handling things like gentlemen... they lawyer up and start flinging poo. (Sorry, Dirty D... I know that's your gig.)

Methinks we have the beginning of a legendary thread here. And we probably should be thanking the OP... That is unless he turns out to be unstable. Or have velcro sneakers. Or is actually named after a tuna. Or turns out to be a CIA Doggy Daycare Male Porn Star Blackwater Sniper. But I think that's unlikely...

As I said above... I suspect that now it's game on!

Cheers,

Sirhr

P.S. Instructor wearing a Budweiser and claiming to be a USMC SS? While saying that all his credentials are somehow 'classified' and not public record? Really? I'll say again for emphasis... really?

Every time we've heard that dodge... guess what.... we get Paul Blart, Mall Cop wearing eBay gear while claiming to have killed Bin Laden and singlehandedly bowled 3 frames with Saddam's head.

I think it's time for our crack team of Interwebs detectives to go full Simon and Simon and see if we have a MARSOC/Seal sniper... or someone who wishes they were Farva. The dirt you guys have unearthed makes Woodward and Bernstein look like a couple of cub reporters working for their high-school newspaper. Unleash the hounds?

Cheers,

Sirhr

I think a little bit of checking out the background for these instructors and seeing if their claims of former service are correct would be in order.
It would be possibly a lot of fun to see what one could come up with.
Also calling in the lawyers works two ways, your own lawyer can then start legally demanding a lot of various evidence and background history.
If one sells their services as having xxx experience, it can often be not legal to have done so if they cannot provide proof that they actually did xxx

Instigating a "PapaRocks", round 2, are you ?

I like it. It's been too long since the last dustup. ;):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The dead giveaway on a facebook "business" page like this is to take note of who clicks "Like" on every post. Usually, that's going to be real person who's posting the picture, video, etc.

Shades of TR dot net Batman! They’ve unleashed the lawyers instead of responding like a legitimate business! Whatever shall we do?

Edit: apparently they think that this crowd is easily cowed like the average flock of sheep. Methinks not!

I barely even remember this show, much less of having watched it. Can you imagine the uproar from the SJW's if something like that was put on tv in this day and age ?

Screaming Mimis, indeed ...

Yeah the 'classified' shit is usually a giveaway.

I'm sure you could find my service record, sniper school, MWCS and time at Hammelburg if you had my full last name and knew who to call. DoD contracts are even more open and 2 of the 3 contracts I was on basically have my name, hour rate and hazard/hardship pay outs (always weird how they did it based on 80 hours a week, 40 overtime with the differential to both hazard/hardship). The only one you can't find is my 3rd one because, well, I'm sure THEIS knows :p

Yet, these guys' credentials are all classified? Yeah. Ok.

Maybe I'm dense, but where is all this info about the OP being unstable and lawyers getting called in coming from?

Hi,

And go.....
--------------------
Hi,

So you stated you were not really running anymore sniper/DM courses but you are advertising one for the 9th of this month.

Also—you are aware that the owner of the newest sniper rifle picture on your company FB page is talking about how terrible your course is right?
https://www.snipershide.com/shootin...-defense-and-protection.6914743/#post-7377287

So do you have those credentials to send over to prove your statements listed on your website or should I send your information over to the USMC Scout Sniper Association so they can look into it?

Sincerely,
--------------------
First of all, thank you for this heads up. This student was very unstable and was blocked from any further classes. Also if you feel an investigation is warranted that is fine, but the backgrounds of the business’ contract instructors is private information.

I have in fact referred your inquiry to my business attorney for his review. Thank you again for bring this to our attention.

Which is an excellent point. Apparently, the 'instructor' must not only be a Marsoc/Seal/Scout Sniper... but he must have have an M.D. in Psychology! Because last time I checked, you kind of need one of those to make a diagnosis.

Otherwise, it's just, well, opinion? Or Stolen Shrink Valor?

Cheers,

Yep, I'm dense!

In my defense, I was following this thread in between busy spells at work, and I suppose a few posts snuck in without me seeing them. Long, busy day, and I guess I didn't figure to back and recheck the entire thread, figuring it had come up in a PM or some such. My post on page one with the screen shot is clear evidence that I missed some critical data! :ROFLMAO: My bad, y'all, heading back to page one to fill in!

Riptide... damn, next someone is going to start posting links to Manimal, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, BJ and the Bear (monkey-trucker shows are still under-appreciated) and that really lame show with the judge and the kit car where they solved mysteries. And, no, not talking about the talking car. The one with the bad kit car...

You know you grew up in the late '70's early '80s, when you know what ALL those references are!

Cheers,

Sirhr

See, I should have done the same before opening my mouth, though. :ROFLMAO: Between work, school, and training, I guess my brain is mush!

Anywho, back to the show!

Well, an MD would be a Psychiatrist. Psychologists aren't MDs, or DOs.

Psychs do plenty of "unsticking," though.

I'm on the fence here because I can see it going either way. 2 scenarios:

1- OP went to a class and wanted to learn some DM/long range stuff. While their website reads like a 3rd grader wrote it and their facebook makes me LOL, he went anyways. When he got there it was a shit show and definitely not a quality class. OP made this thread and after it gained some traction, Theis ended up speaking with their lawyer who went on for 20 minutes about how mentally unstable and fucking crazy OP is. Did they do this as a way to discredit OP and take the spotlight off their shit show of a class; or is OP fucking nuts?

2- OP is actually fucking nuts and after a weekend binge of Mountain Dew and Call of Duty, his mother had to do laundry in the basement making OP either help fold shirts, or go outside. OP decided to take a sniper course instead. OP showed up where the classes took place and started to talk about his time in the sandwich box and how he has an MG42 he brought back from Nam but can't bring it out of his basement. He then went on to give pointers as to why he will only carry a revolver and how he had to get a special waiver from a special forces general to be allowed to carry his personal pistol while on patrol. He didn't feel like he was getting enough attention and people weren't in awe of how he was operating (because come on, hes operating) so he went and got some street cred with a tattoo with a gun on it. Seeing as how his mom was now done with laundry, he decided to grab the rifle he bought with cheeto rewards points and went to the DM/Sniper class to show those plebs what the real deal looked like.

So...which is it?

I have the packet they handed out , I know I should have walked away when I saw that they were unionized. In reality I learned more on this forum than what I learned in class.

Unionized? You mean like Pipe Hitters?

I think the OP is straight up with us. He just showed up to give us a heads up.

I would like to take the time to thank the OP for giving us some red meat to chew on.

As for the “school” who “focuses on CCW now” just posted this yesterday.

Here is the evidence for OP’s case.

Those who have good cause to get their attorneys involved rarely, if ever, throw that fact around as a scare tactic.

The corollary is that those who do throw the threat of attorney involvement around on the internet rarely, if ever, carry it through because they nevar had grounds to.
