In a nutshell: Drug dealers sell bad meth to a man's pregnant wife. Wife suffers a miscarriage. Guy tries to report drug dealers to the local police but they didn't do anything. Drug dealers try to burn the guy's house down in retaliation...

He finally loses it, gets shit faced drunk, heads over to the dealers' spot with a bump-stocked AR and several mags. One sided gunfire. Multiple mag dumps. All 3 dealers dead.

    Holy shit :eek::eek:o_O...............

    http://westkentuckystar.com/News/Lo...om-Reloaded-While-Shooting-Three-Victims.aspx

    From the article:

Dick told the court that Doom said he went to the home with an AR-15 equipped with a bump stock and several magazines of ammunition. He told police he went there to work out differences with the people who eventually died at the scene.

Doom reportedly told police that during their conversation, one of the men in the home made a sudden move and Doom thought the man was armed, so he shot first. Dick said Doom reloaded his weapon during the gunfire, and Stone was shot 11 times, Mallory was shot 19 times and Belt was shot 24 times. The victims were later found to be unarmed.

He also asked if Dick knew that Doom had recently filed a complaint about the trio, saying they were selling drugs at the home, and had sold methamphetamine to his wife, who then lost the baby she was carrying.

Stone, Mallory and Belt had attempted to burn Doom's house during the week before the incident, presumably in retaliation because he filed the complaint about them allegedly dealing drugs. Thomas also said Doom's wife was in a rehab facility at the time of the incident.

In addition to the three counts of murder, Doom was also charged with alcohol intoxication on the night of December 21.

Fuck, I wondered if Golden Rocket by Hank Snow and Hey Tonight by Creedence Clearwater Revival were playing at full blast from overhead speakers while the shooting was going on. 500 Internet points to anyone who gets the reference...

winning all around, I dont see an issue here, why are the police involved?

He fucked himself big time on this one...Going over to the other house and opening fire...there is no way even the best defense is going to save this one.

His meth addict wife is gonna have to make it on her own while he faces a lot of shit water now. Life sentence or death penalty...who knows what's going to come out of this?

this is why you wait till night, get in quick and get out quicker, personally i would have used a suppressed .22 with a brass catcher....or at least wait till 4th of july so people are more likely to chalk it up to firecrackers and not gun fire.

3 known drug dealers....without a suspect, police would have chalked it up to gang violence.

Don't see any reason he shouldn't get off on this one police get a free pass pretty often lately for unjustified shootings this one was definitely justified.
He should be charged with public intox though that was wrong.

If they let him in the house, he had a legal right to be there. If he thought guy was going for a gun, it's pure self defense.
In his favor is the fact that his side of the story is the only one being told.

There was a case with a family that I know very well under similar circumstances but much more compressed time frame.

    1. Father gets drunk and shoots his daughter in the yard with a shotgun. She gets as far away as him as possible.
    2. Daughter is laying behind a stump while her father continues to pepper her with #6 shot from 40 yards a way for several minutes.
    3. Her husband finally hears the commotion (was in the shower) and comes out of the house next door and sees his father-in-law shooting at his wife.
    4. He grabs his pump shotgun and runs up to his FIL and pumps 3 rounds of #00, reloads and pumps 3 more into him at point blank range.

Found Guilty of 2nd Degree Murder. Judge sentences to 3 years, he probationed out in 6 months.

The judge had leniency in sentencing for sure... but the guilty verdict came from his reloading... (or so the jury later said).

The one thing it does show is that Law Enforcement either can't be there.... or in the Kentucky case... don't give a shit.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

better yet, simply put the word out that these guys got jammed up for the attempted arson, and flipped on other local dealers/ suppliers for leniency.....the other dealers wont wait to verify the info, theyll just kill them.

why get your hands dirty when its really pretty easy to get other people to do it for you.

Let's really hope they can find something to alleviate even some of the concrete that is poised to pour on this guy.

Hard for most folks to imagine having so many things going wrong at the same time all hitting you in the face. A wife addicted to that shit that is meth and then losing your baby. Damn, son....just damn.

I personally witnessed two people I know get their souls slowly consumed by meth and heroin use. Just like watching a fuel tanker go bleve in slow motion. And there is nothing you can do except get the fuck out of the way. You can even have someone you call a trusted friend...But once they go on that shit, they are not your friend any more. They WILL try to steal from you or screw you over just to score another high.

this is why you request a jury trial and say nothing to the police at all, other than the following

    they didn't comply

I was in fear for my life,

    the twitchy fucker twitched,

    the twerker twerked

And finally, I need a lawyer before I can say more. OR

give me a beer to calm down while you find my lawyer.
Those fucks have what 24 hours before they have to make a statement? What's good for the goose

My ex is a tweeker. I come home from work not knowing who would be there or if the place was still standing. One of her "friends" stole a .22 from me. Then the next day, the dumb ass tried to sell it to me.

This all started back in the day when she took a hit off a joint which the government is now pushing onto the citizens. Pot is not a gateway drug, surgeon general.

The Jury will probably be full of soccer moms and snowflakes, who have never been in a fist fight let alone deal with scum-bag drug dealers who've tried to torch your house and have killed your baby.

i'm glad the dealers are gone. but let's be real here, the wife killed her baby. not sure there's anything such as 'good' meth. just like with gun control, let's not blame the tool, the person holds the blame. you invite drugs into your house and life, bad stuff happens.

only thing the guy fucked up on was not waiting til the wife was at the house toking up some meth with them, would have helped his case a lot

Good meth? The search "meth fighter pilot" brings up all kinds of interesting stuff. From .mil use to surplus meth hitting the market at the end of wwii

Excellent find right there...And some more history:

The wide supply of milsurp amphetamines flooding onto the civilian market right after the end of World War II coincided with and helped fuel the rise of the motorcycle gangs.

They existed before the war, with groups like the McCook Outlaws forming along Route 66...But add a huge number of combat vets trying to readjust into civilian life PLUS a shitload of speed and the scene really kicked off.

By 1947, you got well established groups like the Hells Angels MC ruling the Cali/Mexico border. One of the early full time bikers said that you can "ride all day, party all night. Do a hit of speed, and do everything all over again". Speed was the principle income for the biker groups, and for the period from 1940 to 1960, their control over the supply was basically unchallenged, since the more established organized crime syndicates such as the Sicilian Mafia had not started to dip their hands into it yet. They were still trying to dominate the waterfront contraband goods market in the big cities.

Nothing ever happens in a vacuum. The 60's drug scene caused all of the biker gangs to start carving out spheres of influences for themselves. Butting heads was unavoidable by then. By the 70's, the blood started to flow in earnest.

One of the best movies of all time...

    Cheers,

    Sirhr

This is one of those movies that I had watched over and over again and is on my all-time favorites list because it is just that good. A story about friendship, loyalty and the loss of innocence, during not just one of the most brutal wars that the US has fought, but when society was fighting it's own war against itself.

The novel Dog Soldiers, by Robert Stone, was directly adapted into this movie. (He redone the script himself so it will conform on screen). One of the BEST novels ever written. If you loved the movie, make sure to read that book too.

As a die-hard fan of CCR and all rockabilly albums from the 70's, the soundtrack for the film could not have been more fitting.

One of the theme songs in the movie, "Golden Rocket", had also been remade into a bluegrass version by Jim and Jesse McReynolds in 1976, two years before the film's release. But they used Hank Snow's original piece for the film.

    Here are both versions:
