I received a PDC competition chassis as an add on to a barreled action from another member yesterday. I had never seen, let alone handled, one, but the price was right, so I gave it a try. Turns out it was a great decision.

This thing is one of the most comfortable and practical chassis I’ve used. The LOP and comb adjustments are done via threaded wheels with detents that are easy to turn, but stay in place. The adjustable thumb shelf is comfortable. The forearm sits well on a bag and is drilled and tapped for add on rail sections or a 419 arca rail, which is what i’ll be using when it arrives. The folding mechanism is solid and simple. Fit and finish is excellent. I had never heard of PDC until last week, but now that I’ve had hands on, I’m very impressed with the chassis.

Anyone else use PDC's newer comp chassis? I got it in a little bit ago and Im liking it a lot. Handguard is long with built in spigot. Cheek piece moves up/down and left/right. Inexpensive adjustable thumb rest. Inexpensive weight kit. Big barricade stop. Butt stock moves vertical/horizontal.

The only things I don't like are that the built in arca rail is narrow compared to RRS. Not a big deal since all my clamps are knob adjustable. And I wish the handguard was one length the whole way so I could get the weight out further.

I've ran ACC, Xylo, Bravo, MPA. This PDC has tremendous value. Pic is with a Bergara B14R w/ 18" barrel. Balance is right where the clamp is.
