Tucker Carlson's interesting monologue last night, posted without comment or bias, for your review.

We dont have a free market capitalist system.

The govt picking and choosing winners as well as saving individuals and corporations from their own bad decisions is what has unbalanced the market and the Darwinian standard.

why have a family now if govt will be the bread winner?

why run your business ethically if you can lobby laws or expect a bailout.

why care about the middle class if your power derives from the elite and those you provide bread and circuses to.

didnt read or hear Tuckers speech but if its in that vein....he is right.

This seems to be igniting some fuses.

Greg

You didn't post the monologue. You posted a link to an editorial purporting to explain it and theorize about it and how it paints a picture of the changing nature of conservative thought.

Rather sly, actually. If we're going to play a fair game of pinball, let's not start nudging the legs and shaking the table just shy of a tilt, mm-kay?

Maybe this one:

My state approved recreational marijuana.

When the licenses were being given out (undoubtly with the expectation of kickbacks) one of the awardees was a retired DA.

Here is a guy that made a career putting people away for pot now he was going to be a dealer.

Govt shouldnt be involved in lottery or vice but they are and they are the biggest purveyors of both.

Odds are better at Vegas than any govt gambling operation.
