This had me laughing pretty hard... In an oped piece for The Hill Jonathan Turley theorizes on how the Russia investigation came to be and how it has turned into something so arcane and wretched. He begins with the citation of a NYT article titled "F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia", which really focuses on a justification for it. Turley's piece, the NYT article, the panicked commentary.... hilarious. I have no idea where the truth may lay, but I do have to question the motive behind the Times in publishing this in the way that they did.

I would appreciate an Alexander stepping forward to cut, or untie, the knot (depending on which version you believe). Whatever the truth this country will be a better place for it. But I'm not holding my breath

we are not in a quagmire. the government is eating itself, that is a good thing, hopefully they take up arms against themselves and rid us of their evil and corrupt influence. Would love to see DC turn into Al Capone Chicago Valentines day every day with each department retaliating against each department in the effort to get their share of the booty they extort from America.

There is so much potential with this shut down.

The knot happened because they thought they had sufficiently stolen the election for Hillary. Trump was never going to win. I remember how the msm laughed and laughed when he announced his candidacy. This “investigation” only came to be after it looked like he was going to win.

The hypocrisy is the actual Russian collusion with Obama and Clinton with the Uranium One scandal.

They won’t make the mistake twice! That’s what I’m worried about. Many think we are only one election away from a republican never winning again.

The Deep State has demolished what little protections existed at FISA, and weaponized our investigative and intelligence agencies against Republicans and a sitting President. They can never be trusted again. They have to be burned to the ground to root out all the Democrat operatives, like Comey, who we’ve been lied to and told are “unbiased professionals”. Theyre not. Government and government unions are part and parcel of the left, which is now entirely Marxist, and is openly admitting it. The whole thing is completely infected and gangrenous.

If this can all happen by mistake? Then it is worse than if they did it purposely. Why? Because it means the system that is supposed to safeguard us against this is so effed up it can never be fixed or trusted.

You are asking criminals to prosecute themselves. That won’t ever happen. Im telling you all that this crap will continue until the people march up there and demand accountability. No government agency is going to do this. And to be honest we are all failing our oaths that most on this board took at one point in time. We either march and do something real or we just watch it fall. The choice is ours.

Well if the "Trump Agenda" fails then yeah we are pretty much fucked. We'll still get Republicans every now and then but they will be squishy faggots like Flake or Jeb.

Not only did the media not expect him to win they used him to wound and eliminate other contenders.

The real joy of Trump is that he exposed how stupid and smug the establishment is.

In the past th media chose the least electable candidate to run against their chosen candidate.

Sarah Palin appealing to America required that she be destroyed.

Milk Toast Mitt Romney was chosen for his lack of fight and a stoned Obama almost handed him the election until Candy Crowley picked up the slack.

Remember the election, remember how the media swooned over Trump until he became the thing they could not control.

I'd like to think that the Mueller invest was just to massive armies blundering into a war neither wanted but it's not.

It's a coup with an intent to over ride the will of the people.

Maybe the Times sees some writing on the wall and now wants to cover its role.

It looks like a coup, but it’s probably just a coverup. If Hillary was elected we’de know NOTHING. None of this would have ever come to light. We’de know nothing about all these politically motivated investigations started on either no probable cause, or well known partisan, manufactured cause.

Comey, Clapper, and pulled what they did and

Imagine all that we still don't know...not just anything pertaining to this matter but all of the other matters. I can't even imagine what shit is being pedaled for truth

Sorry, didn’t finish that one.
My theory is that Comey, Clapper, Rosenstein, and President Obama (most certainly knew what all these loyalists were doing) where using the state intelligence apparatus to spy on everyone in Trump’s orbit, and try to sabotage his candidacy knowing that he would never get elected, so no big deal, and Clinton would help them sweep everything under the rug...

Except she lost, and they panicked. When Trump fired Comey the jig was up, and he had to do something to deflect from what WE KNOW, for a fact, that they did, and they’re all Federal Felonies; dozens of them. Their whole thing is nothing be a misdirect to try to weaken Trump so he can’t order their allies in the Injustice Department (whose leadership is as corrupt as CIA and FBI) to prosecute them for FISA abuse and running counter intelligence
operations against Republicans while excusing actual crimes committed by Clinton.

That they’re going to get away with it is how I know the Republic is already dead, and the fucking communist fucks are already in control. Burning it all to the ground is now the only way.
