PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

I filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General two weeks ago, I just want a refund, tired of the BS! I had a custom rifle built in 6 months!

Some of you have more patience me, mine ran out December 31st. I don't a lot of extra cash, not enough to just go buy another "quasi" custom rifle, I want to fn shoot. Business is business, hope for the best and expect the worst. A good company takes care of its customers, if you are happy, good for you, Im not. I'll be GTG when they treat me with respect and refund mu fucking money.

So now he has to spend more time dealing with bullshit like this from people like you which screws everybody over. Prior to last week I had $2000 in barrels that I’ve been waiting on but you didn’t see me on here bitching about it. Still waiting on 2/3’s of that but they are currently the only place offering shouldered barloc barrels so I’ll wait. Do I wish they were faster, yeah, but as a sales engineer for a manufacturing company I also understand that unexpected shit happens and bitching at the sales guy does exactly jack shit to help get things done quicker.

Besides you just sold a SCAR and are looking at $6000 thermal so you clearly have at least some money to toss around since both cost more than the JHR or Nucleus BA.

Let me ask you this.. Did you ever change your order at all? Changing the specs of your order can drop you back in delivery time.

But damn it. I would hate to even sell you a stick of bubble gum. It clearly says "deposits are NON REFUNDABLE." You can call or sue or do whatever you want, but any attorney or small claims court magistrate will rule against your claim with the terms that were clearly in place when you made your purchase. But keep on keeping on.

Realistically they don't have to waste one minute on that complaint, as I said, refund my money and they will never hear from me again, I gave them a chance. There are plenty of companys out there who "respect the customer" and take care of problems created by poor customer service. Great companys survive by taking care of their customers, maybe they will, maybe they won't (I hope they do). I will say that if they had refunded my money Jan 1, I would have purchased their TAC-40 tripod, now, probably not. I wil also say that from here on out, I will NEVER pre-order a product that hasn't been produced. Halo has a pre-order on a new thermal imaging optic, not a chance, I will wait until its available. Again, maybe you have the patience for this BS, I I don't!. Thanks for the financial advice, its nice to know how much money I have to throw aroundo_O

I did change my order, I originally ordered a Nucleus barreled action but was told it wouldn't effect my place in order to change it to a JHR. When I ordered my barreled action, nothing on the website said "non-refundable". My order was changed to a JHR via e-mail. Im not interested in your fn bubble gum

Lmao. u completely changed your order and expected to get snuck in line in front of others who knew what they wanted and ordered the JHR. How do you think that is supposed to work out? Someone else get pushed back bc you cant make up your mind on what you want? gtfoh.

You might want to re-read my previous post? GTFO, I can only rely on PVA's word that it wouldn't change my place in line, and it obviously hasn't lol. You might want to stick with selling bubble gum!

Does anyone recall what the introductory pricing was on the Nucleus barreled action from PVA? I can't seem to find any details on PVA's original announcement.

Yep. I hope you get your refund, but you’re a clown.

I have had several dealings with pva and they were all stellar. They are a small shop though and when you order you need to realize this. I think if you stick it out you will have a rifle that you will cherish for years.

That said I'm sure someone would take your place in line, post your spot on the exchange.

Me thinks TKO has sand in his vagina. Dick move filing a claim against a company you know for sure will send you your product. Bitch move man!

I have JHR serial #14 action and I love it. Hard to find a fault with it. Smooth as butter and well thought out. So it took longer than they said it would, big fucking deal. Some of you (TKO) sounds like little bitches for fuck sake. Y’all got your parties in a bunch like you’ve never pre-ordered a product before. Man the fuck Up! Some of you sound like you were given way too many participation trophies as kids.

“Waaaaahh muh gun is late, waaaahhh I want muh refund” that’s what some of you fucking sound like. Little children throwing a tantrum. SMDH

As someone who has his JHR in hand, believe me when I say it was worth the wait! You’ll feel the same way when you get yours.

Whaa Whaa Whaa, your the one who sounds like a whiny BITCH! "Man the Fuck Up" Fuck you!!! I was taught to give people an opportunity to do the right thing, well, I did. Business is Business, I bet if they sent me a final invoice and I said "I'll get it to you" that they would say sure, let us know when you can pay? I don't have the patience to wait for the PVA, ARC drama to play out and good for you if you do! Its pretty simple, new orders are being taken as we speak, simply refund money as its received, its not rocket science. Guess I'll go "Man the Fuck Up" lol

Doesn't seem to be an option for you.

No one is shitting on you for wanting a refund, we're shitting on you for the route you took to get one. You knew exactly what you were signing up for or your reading comprehension is fucked. Either way. it was a dick move made by the type of "customer" no one doing business is sad to see the tail lights of.

I feel your pain because it’s frustrating getting dragged along and it’s pretty damned common in this industry. On three other side it’s pretty common in this industry and shouldn’t be surprising.

Luckily there’s a pretty easy solution to keep it from ever happening again, don’t preorder firearms shit, don’t pay non refundable deposits. You won’t get the latest neat stuff, but you will get stuff.

Have you tried to swap your place with someone?

I have had no dealings with these folks prior to ordering the rifle. Went with some knowledgeable recommendations and placed the order.

My frustration is simply not knowing. Will I have a rifle by Spring to start shooting? Do I need to look for something else?

Having been around custom firearms (and bicycles) most of my life, I get delays. They have had decent communication, but some dates (best guesses?) would be helpful

You and all your fan boys can go fuck your selves!!! Knew what I was signing up for, what was that? A year of confusion over product variance, production, and delivery, yep, got it.

Thanks for the advice, I agree 100% with you! I have said multiple times, I will never pre-order again. Yes, I tried posting it in the Exchange but I don't have full privilidges. I even had someone PM me about it but apparently wasn't interested. I posted it here but The Hide removed it. When I ordered, you had to pay for the entire order up front, not $250. As I said earlier, my initial order was a barreled Nucleus action, my order was changed to a JHR verbally over the phone and followed up by me via e-mail. Nothing was ever said about either being non-refundable, after all, it wasn't a deposit, it was a purchase. Thanks

BA $1474.95
Shipping $ 49.95
Total $1524.90

Personally I would give it a bit then maybe call PVA next week and ask if they could swap your order with someone who is currently considering. Or maybe access some other forums that allow sales easier.

I’m sure you can find someone to swap places

I thought the barreled action introductory price was $1374.95...?

TKO, what are the specs of the barreled action-come-JHR you have a $250 deposit on? Given it was VERY clearly written that deposits were not refundable and you're pissing up a rope asking for one, have you listed it for sale in the PX in order to "get your fucking money" back?

He paid full price up front and doesn’t have enough posts to post in member exchange

Usually I like to be more diplomatic, but his actions don't warrant it. Lets recap; he changed his order completely at least 1 time that we know of. I would bet there was more than 1 change but we are at at least 1 that he admitted to. He files a claim with the AG on a non refundable deposit (which will do nothing but waste everyone's time). Instead of maybe selling his spot like others have done (that would make too much sense), he goes on a childish rant here (because that will help matters). Throw in some pointless insults to everyone in this thread that has been here longer than him (literally everyone in this thread has been here longer than him).

Seems you have learned another one of "Life's Little Lessons"...Read ALL of the Written conditions of sale. I think people ARE forgetting the main concept in the JHR; A near custom (or custom) rifle that will be able to compete in the "Production" PRS class... And at a VERY good price...The PRS qualification means little to me, as I am too old to compete... The price and the quality of the rifle, for my purposes, is what I am willing to wait and to pay for...Hopefully, I will live long enough to enjoy it! Lol

Right.

Anyone want to take a guess how this ass hat behaved on the phone or over emails about this when he's acting the way he is here?

God in heaven I am so happy that I do not serve the gun community sometimes...

Holy fuck! You contacted your state attorney general over $250 "Non Refundable but Transferrable" deposit? What a fucking waste of time and energy for EVERYONE involved. I feel for those that have to live and deal with you on a daily basis. It must be torture. For the energy you've put in thus far, you could have likely sold your place in line for a small profit.

This is great, I have to laugh at some of the responses, very entertaining. Dissapointingly, there is no reading comprehension requirement to join the Hide. After considering some of the more reasonable posts on here, I sent PVA an e-mail letting them know that I would be withdrawing my complaint. I apologized for being a pain in the ass and am done with it. I am also done with this thread, I know you guys are going to miss me but you'll have to misconstrue somebody elses actions, turn them around and upside down. For those of you who responded intelligently, thanks. P.S. Thanks for upping my numbers(y)

TKO, just FYI, Josh at PVA is at SHOT and may not respond to emails until Feb 4th. This is from an email sent out yesterday:

"A message to our valued customers,

As many of you know this week begins our industry’s largest annual conference: SHOT Show.

We’ll be represented by PVA’s owner and chief engineer, Josh, who will showcase some new offerings in 2019 at booth 1060.

Our PHONES and GENERAL EMAIL will be CLOSED from January 21 until February 4th to better focus on fulfilling orders. During this time the work at our shop will continue. We’ve added an additional shift of machinists and expanded our facility. If you’ve had trouble getting in touch with us; that’s why. If we missed an important email please send it again and we will do our best to get back to it in a timely fashion.

These efforts are part of our plan to reduce the current backlog of existing orders and reduce wait times for future customers. One thing we refuse to sacrifice is quality, and that demands time.

The online store will be available for placing deposits on newly announced products.

We will resume normal business on February 4th, 2019. Thanks for your continued patronage and support.

Very respectfully,

-Josh, Jeremy, Rick, Levi, Kyle, and Chris

Patriot Valley Arms"

Good on you TKO for pulling your complaint.
I'm frustrated because I've been waiting for a simple barrel for 21 weeks. PVA isn't the easiest to get a hold of.
You just need to figure out who you are going to deal with in the future, and who not to.

The only one upping your post count here is you. No one is forcing you to post or Reply to posts. If all you want is to pad your numbers just to get access to the PX then say so. As for canceling the complaint, I’m glad you came to your senses. You are still a little bitch in my book for even filing the claim in the first place! But I’m just a name on the screen and what I think shouldn’t matter too much. Now let’s see how done you were with this thread.

Holy Cow!! I spend a couple days offline and miss all the whining & crying. I am JHR Order #1953, made deposit on 28/29JAN18, and waiting on a tracking number. The waiting has sucked but my gosh, not bad enough to make me cry like a little entitled metrosexual bitch.

Anyway......For y'all that have JHR/BA's in 6.5CM, how are they shooting?

For those who cannot wait.

LRI will do a Barreled Action in two weeks.

They will spin it up in front of you on a Saturday if you bring your own parts.

Yes they cost a touch more but if you want it done fast and right....

Every one of these group buys turns into some sort of a shit show.

I assume the James Madison chassis is for Remington, but their website doesn't say. As you know you can't contact them until after the preorder is over. I would hate to order one and have to buy it if it wasn't what I wanted. I'm only posting here because I know they watch it tread and may clarify before the preorder is over.

It is for r700 actions and clones

Hey guys, I’m having an issue with my bravo chassis and the KRG ARCA rail. Was wondering if anyone has the same issue.

When I tighten the KRG ARCA rail to the bravo fore end, it causes the ARCA rail to bend and conform to the bellied shape of the fore end. This causes my ARCA bipod to bind when trying to slide it back and forth unless I loosen it a lot. Anyone have this issue?

U might have the wrong length screw for whatever hole you are threading it into. I did the same thing until I figured out the correct placement for the screws. but I have the Acura rail on a w3 forend but it's the same concept

Not sure what screw length has to do with it. The forend isn’t flat. It’s curved. No matter how I do it it torques the ARCA rail into a curved shape. Even without screwing it down, just laying it on there there is a gap at the front and back but the center is touching.
