I have a 338-378 WBY Accumark . Bought rifle used hardly fired ,already had standard Leupold rings and bases. 40 rounds destroyed front Ring where it cams into base.( wiggled like jello) So i bought a Ken Farrell industries Steel rail Designed for this rifle. Had some Burris extreme tactical rings mounted scope and tried to bore sight it at 50 yds. I ran out of left wind age adjustment ! Zeiss V6 ,I removed the left turrent cap to make sure I was by passing the Zero stop . So could this one piece picatanny rail have revealed a misaligned factory scope base set ? What is the fix ?

Thanks after reading a bunch of reviews and watching a few You Tube videos . I ordered a pair for a $101 bucks.
I use them exclusively just for the fact that they are good quality, not expensive compared to some, won’t put ring marks on your scope, and the ability to adjust and add moa in any direction makes it a no brainer!

Will those rings be able to hold the scope from slipping in the inserts?
I have them on an unbraked 300 Norma Mag and they hold fine. For reference I have a short action precision two round holder on the rifle and after 4-5 shots the recoil throws the two rounds out of it lol. They are in there tight too.

Ok I understand detailed instructions come with these. At 50 yards rifle shoots 5" to the right and that's with maximum left windage. So would I have the thick side of shim on left side of rear ring and neutral in the front ? I'd like to not have to be opening up the rings repeatedly to determine the right shim .

I'm thinking the thick shim in the rear ring would need to go on the right side, when viewed from behind.

How much windage adjustment does you scope have? And what is the distance between rings? Maybe we can calculate a good guess for shim thickness
