Where the hell did she get ammo for that? I have one of those (they are rarer than rocking horse turds) and ammo is unobtanium. Assume that's a custom turned brass 'light' load? Because those shells are so rare that you never, ever shoot them. Even the brass is impossible.

Cheers,

Sirhr

She must have listened to @ArmyJerry and bought it all. I been watching and she never stops shooting. She must have fired 200 rounds just today. :D

What cartridge/caliber? I was just assuming 50BMG. But by your response I would be wrong.

Hi,

Have you contacted RCC for brass. They can make pretty much any cartridge case you desire.

Sincerely,
Theis

Damnit Sirhr, you are really going to drop that comment and not give any details? Us poor folk want to know.

Details are probably in Vintage... but that's a German 1918 T-Gewehr anti-tank gun. One of the rarest guns on the planet. I happen to have one. But ammo is completely unavailable. So watching someone shoot one or more cartridges is intriguing!

There was a guy in France offering 'turned' cartridges that you could re-load. But it was sort of a solid brass bar with a hole up the middle for powder. I assume that is what these are. Because the recoil looks light. The legend is that these were beyond punishing.

Here is a picture of my bolt... next to a Luger. Gives you an idea of scale.

I can turn up some shells in the 'french' model. But if there is a supply of original rounds out there... I am not aware of them.

Cheers,

Sirhr

I have the lathes... and can do these. But I'd like to find some original brass! Like I said, there is a guy in France who made them in bulk, but they are brass bar stock with a hole up the middle and could crimp around a custom projectile. I can do those all day. Copper solids and a custom shell.

But I'd kind of like to find some original brass!

Thanks for the offer, thought!

My what a big bolt ya got there mr.

13.2mm TuF
The 13.2 Tuf utilized a 92 mm-long semi-rimmed case featuring a shallow bottle-neck. It was developed by the Polte ammunition factory in Magdeburg, Germany

The armour-piercing hardened steel cored 13.2 x 92mm (.525-inch) semi-rimmed cartridge, often simply called "13 mm", was originally planned for a new, heavy Maxim MG.18 water-cooled machine gun, the Tank und Flieger (TuF) meaning for use against "tank and aircraft", which was under development and to be fielded in 1919. The rounds weighed 51.5 g (795 gn) with an initial velocity of 785 m/s (2,580 ft/s).[6]
