The vortex website specifically lists 30yds and the picture of the side adjustment only goes down to 30 whereas reviews say 25 and other pictures of the scope have 25yards listed on the side focus. im thinking of putting it on my vudoo v22 (over the HD Gen 2).
Rifle Scopes can anyone confirm the Vortex Razor AMG parallaxes down to 25 yards?

They used to be 25y, I had one of the originals and I'm pretty sure it said 25 on there. Vortex may have re-evaluated the parallax and decided 30y was a more accurate representation, I'm curious if the new scopes say 30 instead of 25 at the low end.
huh, okay then. i think the new scopes must be 30 because the pictures of the side focus only go down to 30. they werent giving me straight answers when i called earlier today, maybe ill go annoy them some more tomorrow and try and get straight answer. if they changed it im guessing they did it when they changed the reticle from a cross to a floating dot, thats another change i noticed.

I must have an older model mine goes to 25 yrds. Great scope for NRL22.
I think its the parallax and focus distance. I read that the AMG focuses at closer distances at higher mag. Arguably the razor HD 3-18 may be better because that one actually parallaxes down to 25yards, whereas the AMG goes to 30 (vs 25, unclear)
The amg’s I have owned were 25yd focus/parallax. Not sure when it changed to 30.
But this is what makes it a better option. While the 3-18 will also work, the amg allows you to use max power at closer distance. This is helpful on kyl and paper stages.
I almost never factor weight into a prs or nrl22 rig as you have to start getting around 22+ lbs before they get bulky enough to slow you down.
Sling and practice. Standing is the only time you’ll get a little tired.
Kneeling, sitting, prone, all the weight should be on the bone of your arm, so you shouldn’t get tired at all.
I sent mine back they will not focus at 25 yards. I have 2 of them. I had back luck since they fixed the parallax issue but stripped my turret cover. They sent me a new scope but now it has the same issue. Id say maybe they focus at 35 yards.
So my scope wasn't able to focus below say 35 yards. I sent to back to be readjusted. When I got it back the cover over the zero stop was sent home so hard or cross threaded it wouldn't come off. I bent a quarter trying to remove it. I was nice enough to tape the tool the comes with the scope along with the coins I destroyed in my attempt to remove the center cap. I was pissed after getting it back and it had another problem. They sent me a new scope but again it wont focus as close as they say they will. Mine is on a Vudoo V22 which I do shoot at 25 yards at times. Over the weekend I plan on shipping it back. They said they can make it work at 25 yards.
