AOC gets around, don't she?![]()
You could have also opted to not receive any "gift". I don't even have a hat...
I believe they s an option to not get swag or the magazines.I didn't see the box saying "I don't want swag." I also didn't see the box asking them to not call me every other day.
Yep, likely was me. 800-555-1212 is my number for them.I believe it was @Redmanss that mentioned that I should have never given them my real number.
The NRA is like the stuck up bitch that won't give any pussy, but I keep spending money on her. Old habit I guess.
NRA don’t do shit. You wanna support someone? support your vets. Especially the ones that take their oath seriously. You wanna help California? drop ship some “evil black parts”. It is pretty sad that nra sent a member a china made knife. It’s even sadder that this surprises people. Do you have a decent Arsenal? Do you have plenty of beans bullets and band aids? Do you have a organized QRF? Time for fighting in courts is running out. Time for fighting in the streets are getting overdue. If you really need a knife and can’t find anyone in the lower 48, ship me some metal and a idea and I’ll make you one when I’m stuck in my shop for winter.
The correct number is 1-800-328-7448
Yeah, but I was already pro gun....I will/would not trade,... my logic/morals..... for any pussy. Out of the spot light I'll bet she is a full on R2V.
Your idea is good. There are people out there that are struggling to pay bills and can’t even afford ammo though. I personally was laid off right before thanksgiving and just this month got back to work. I know I’m not the only one that would love to have some of y’alls seconds and hand me downs, but cannot actually afford to send money to a org like nra and could not in clear conscience send them money if I had it. You wanna know how I support my 2nd ad though? I occasionally buy those 5 special parts for a ar and bury it with some other stuff. I find fellow vets on the same page and give them a lower and show em how to build if there not as technical as me. Do you know anyone that could use a black rifle and don’t have one?Thing that gets me is on their prepaid envelopes they ask you to use your own stamp so NRA can save the postage "to fight for your rights".
Well how about eliminating all the BS swag save for some shirts or hats (Made in USA) ie those items that promote visibility to the public.
It is important for the NRA to carry items that can be viewed by the public.
My kid was out walking with his friend and friends mother a few years ago.
She saw a sticker on a car and said "There is a mass murderer".
Later when he was with me my son saw the same sticker on another car and told me the story.
It was an NRA sticker.
I explained to him Im in the NRA and they are the furthest thing from mass murderers. Its a rights organization fighting to prevent people from being helpless in the face of mass murderers.
That cunt and our kids probably need to see people they interact with wearing NRA crap I guess to counteract the negative portrayal by the media.
A cheap Chinese knife does nothing for that goal.
Love or hate the NRA they are the biggest elephant in the room and until proved to be a cover for antigun incrementalism shit they should be supported.
@MtnCreek did me a solid this week. He had an item I casually mentioned I was looking for and than offered to provide same to me. He wanted no money but when I insisted he said "Okay whatever donation I think the items worth to my gun rights organization of choice"
Second Ammendment Foundation got a $50 donation.
I know @Tucker301 killed the "What you got?" open ended bartering thread but I wonder if a thread where surplus gear could be exchanged for an appropriate donation to any real gun rights group would work?
So if I have a surplus double Sig 40 magazine pouch collecting dust on top of my safe and post it. First guy that posts Ill take it and shows a screen shot of his $10 donation to GOA, NRA, SAF, COMM2A, CALGUNs, participates in whatever Good Guys with Guns may be active - whatever legit 2A rights org - gets the item sent to him as cheaply as I can do it.
Some items could have a reserve. So if someone has a railed front end they want to see generate a donation maybe they say "First $80 donation".
Needs to be someway for it to not become a bidding war.
Maybe small items are $10 minimum and bigger items of value have a reasonable reserve.
Its just to get rid of gear that all of us have and want to throw away but that dumb voice in our head says "Someone may need this". Our wives are right - no one needs our shit but if its only costing them a donation to something benefiting them anyway we might trick them into thinking they do.
Buyer gets a piece of gear, seller cleans shit off top of safe, everyone benefits from better funded fight for 2A.
Good idea? Bad?
-I'm a life member.........the only thing I ever got from the NRA was a sticker that stated the same..........consider yourself lucky............
