Biathlon-7-2-KO,.22LR straight pull bolt, and Russian VOMZ 8x60 scope. Setup for siluette plinking.
IZH 35 Baikal .22 LR target pistol topped with a cheap red dot scope setup for Bullseye shooting.

IMHO, if you are starting out or want to get kids into match shooting without spending $,$$$ this is the way to go.

Nice duo! I agree that the Russian stuff is usually a good bang for the buck. I should've bought one of those Biathlon rifles when Centerfire had them for around $200.

Nice thing about the Russian guns, they are made to last, they only get to buy once and it has to be durable...Nice duo..keep on shootin....

Do you know if anyone is importing the IZH right now? I know that EAA used to, but I didn't buy one when I had the chance.

Thanks,
Dan H.

Great Pixs serzant, and I totally Concur with MG-70 also. BTW that optical sight you have on that Baikal .22 target pistol is exactly what one of my pards has mounted on his new Remington AR-15 knock-off, a great sight for the money. Great set up for as you say introducing youngsters to firearms and shooting!!!! That straight pull biathlon rifle is just like the one a guy shoots at our monthly sporting .22s match. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you get both of those shooters??? And are they still available???
