I thought the SHV is only 2FP....
There is a FFP version: 4-14x50.

Yeah, i just saw that on EO. I wonder how the two compare? The Steiner is a 34 mm tube over the NF 30 mm and the Steiner objective is 56 mm compared to 50 mm for the shv.
I think the SHV is lighter and more compact, where the P4X offers more vertical travel in just one turn but is heavier, tradeoffs. As the Dark Lord of optics has pointed out neither are as nice as the ATACR or the MK5. But I have blown all my money on SnB's for my bigger guns and can't afford any more Uber glass.
Then tell them marshmallows to stop sending shit to be made in China. Some of it is cultural too. Chicoms have a shit culture...thank God. It's a society based on stealing and emulating others. Which works great when you are trying to catch up technology wise but they are incappable of innovation. We should be thanking God that even with stealing every piece of advanced Western tech, they still can't build things like a jet engine or other advanced military tech at a competent level.
Anything worth a shit coming out of China is most likely Western tech with Western management on the ground. As been seen millions of times... Take away the white boot out of their ass, and they revert back to their ways. Let's pray they never learn to think for themselves.
Bushnell killed it's reputation with me a long time ago... Hearing it's name alone hurts my eyes already. To many low end scopes so will be hard to win me back. I don't care how top notch they are now a days I just won't buy one. I'm bias.
Well, you can join a very long list of trolls who choose to ignore sound data and experience then.Bushnell's been putting out quality optics for several years now, whether you choose to believe it or not.
I thought this thread was odd reading-until Primus was mentioned and I remembered I have him on ignore so I don't see anything at all from him lol. Ignore feature here completely blacks out user to you.
Whole lotta stupid going on in this thread on page 2. Whatever you may think of Greeley Steiner, the performance of the Bushy Elite Tac. scopes has been validated many times over and is utterly beyond reproach. The product coming out of Greeley Co. ... Well, some hit... Some do not...
Ah, maybe I should use that feature with that dip shit!
Lmao....A Bushnell on a rifle is like Pro Wings on an athlete...
I’m in the same boat, been back and forth on the Steiner or Athlon Midas TAC 6-24.For someone with an $800 budget, what do you recommend over the Steiner Px4i?

What model do you refer to as the cheaper bushnell? For something not in the elite tactical line I wont argue that but to say it can blow the LRTSi (lowest eltie tac) out of the water are some mighty strong comments.Nothing....the P4x blows the cheaper Bushy and Vortex PST out of the water.

I won’t argue that lolI’m talking about the Gen 1 elite Bushy line. The Steiner glass and Turrets are better imo. I like the 34 mm tube for increased elevation range and the 56 mm objective compared to the 44 mm on the elite. The newer gen 2 HDMR stuff is impressive though.
looks like i snoozed for abit long on this...cameraland are no longer shipping scopes internationally![]()

Anyone here know who sells the Steiner P4XI for $800 let me know. Thanks!
Not $800 though 30 minutes ago.
