The rage in CA is a falsehood calls a Gun Buyback.

What kills me is that so many widows inherit guns and don't know what to do with the firearms... The police say you can turn them over to us for destruction or a gun buyback and get $100-$200 per firearm.

If a widow inherited a Ferrari, she might know to call a dealer to buy the car.

the problem is most don't know anything about how to legally sell a gun.... so they effectively get property taken for less than market prices....

It's also a great way to get murder weapons disposed of... no questions asked....

Kill a few people... give your MOMS the gun and she can get a gift card... no ID required... no questions asked... LAPD will then destroy the firearm...

UGH

Fuck that buy back crap, it infers some magical government agency let you have the gun in the first place. Fuck the gun stores to. You will only get 30% of its value there, if you try and sell.

Keep records of your guns and prices and tell someone you trust to handle the sales, a grieving wife is not a good negotiator.

Shoot the damn guns while your alive because you can’t take them
With you

This is why you should be buying $35 lowers whenever you can find them. Drag a wagon full of them in for destruction and get your $100 for each of them.
Financially I get what you are saying......morally ethically I just couldn't let a bunch of perfectly good AR lowers fall into the hands of communist to get destroyed and taken off the market.

yup
$35 lower
$35 DROS
9 3/4% Sales tax
10 or 11 day wait based upon the store.... multiple purchased get reported to BATFE as we are a sand state...

Make $25-
I should do that. Start with buying one lower, then flip the money in to buying and transferring 2-3 lowers, then buy 5-6 with that money and turn that in to a complete AR15 with my initial investment returned.

Free AR15!

Maybe I could do it for a Glock and a Shotgun at the same time and then shoot a three gun match.

Then write a nice little article about how I turned about $150 in to three guns and my money back.

Of course I would check to make sure the DROS transactions wouldn't get flagged and comply with all laws.

The point would be to show the stupidity of gun buybacks, not to include personally identifiable information for the ATF to look for.

I'll just be a needle in a stack of needles behaving in a lawful manner.

This is a win for everyone.

Al is cheap, and an American industry. I'm sure the Al producers would relish increased demand.

Anderson Manufacturing will happily make more.

Buying up all of the Anderson lowers prevents newbs from throwing their money at the cheapest alternative. Buy once, cry once. Right?

The police get to show how many dangerous assault rifles they took off the street. Imagine the collective liberal woody produced with 100 stripped lowers arrayed on an evidence table.

The gun lobby gets to show how robust the gun industry is. Look at all the NICS checks.

The police have less money for "buy backs."

Roll your earnings into a CNC machine.

Signal some virtue of your own. Use your earnings to set up a table next to the buy back. Offer grandma double what the police do for her NIB nazi Luger...

DROS? CA lol!!!
