We have received payment from everyone. Thank you to everyone for getting everything to me before the deadline!

Payment confirmation and shipping instructions will be emailed to each of you by weeks end. I just spoke to Keystone, looking at roughly a 3 week turn around from action receipt at their shop.

So you can be prepared, a clear, legible photocopy of your drivers license, matching the shipping address on your invoice MUST be included with your action along with your paid order confirmation sheet I will be sending you.

You are only shipping them your action with the bolt in it. No stock or barrel. Keystone will custom fit, chamber and headspace your barrel to your action and mail your action and new barrel back to you for you to glue in. I will do a video and post it in this thread on gluing in the tenon with 609 to assist anyone that wants to see it done.

Keep an eye on your email and thank you. Those of you that ordered new rifles for donor actions I will not be sending you an order confirmation email or shipping instructions until you have provided me with your Action Serial #. Please reply to the payment request email I sent you when you have your Serial#.

Paid Order Confirmations and Shipping Instruction Emails have been sent out to all but 1 who I am waiting for a serial# from

Mine's on the way as of today. Thank you for setting all of this up. I'm really looking forward to testing mine out in a few weeks.

No problem. Up until my surgery May 21, I'll be emailing guys when their action has been received like I've done today. Few weeks and you'll have everything back and ready to shoot.

Actions are streaming into Keystone Accuracy now. They have received 8 to date and those people have been notified via email that their actions have been received at Keystone Accuracy and logged in.

Are they in the white or did everyone send stainless actions except me?

Looks like the bluing has been stripped based on the color of the receivers ..... ie bare metal which the gunsmiths i have dealt with call in the white. Or they could be stainless ...

Bud I dont know what picture your looking at or on what device but all those actions above in my picture are as black as it gets exactly how they come from the factory....

Huh, color is off somewhere … looks like satin stainless on both my phone and true color monitor at the house. Oh well, is what it is …. actually would make a good looking finish.

Just showed it to 3 people sitting here with me on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Asked what color are these actions. They all said black why. Haha

So I dont know what to tell you but what you sent is what you will receive back and that's all that matters here.

Go figure …. to make matters worse I have a Note 9 as well.

Question to the group, what kind of glass are you planning on putting on your new tack driver?

I'm running a Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5-29x56 MIL on mine and love it. With the Area 419 30moa rail I make consistent hits at 400yds. 500yd I am maxed out with elevation adjustment and RETICLE and make about 50% hits.

I sent in a stainless 455 along with a 457. They should have been delivered today.

Every action received at Keystone through today has been informed via email that Keystone has received your action.

If you havent got an email then Keystone hasnt receiced your action. I get a picture of your action with your PAID invoice in the picture every time Keystone receives an action. As of today we havent received 4.

Nice glass ! Don't know much about Athlon scopes but looks very interesting.

I'm running an Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27 on mine along with BScar's 2 stage trigger. It's going in a McRees chassis but that might change down the road.

Hmmmm. I’m on the road and left the tracking info. At home. I sure hope they were delivered. At least they are insured to the hilt. No email. Maybe they’ll show tomorrow. Not a warm fuzzy feeling......

I just talked to Keystone accuracy 20 minutes ago your actions and two other guys have not arrived as of 20 minutes ago

Thank you for checking on them. I sent them via USPS Priority Mail. Receipt stated two days and they were sent on Monday. I’ll be home tomorrow and I’ll track them.

Well, according to USPS, delivery was attempted today at 11:58 am. They must have tried during the lunch break, as there was no one there to accept the package. Tracking say further action required. Not sure if that means they’ll attempt another try, or if the package will be returned to me.

Nope was there. Mailman didnt even knock on the door. Saw mailman pulling away on the camera. Told me now I have to go chase down the mailman. They will get it

Hmmmm. Must be an anti-gunner. It looks like I can reschedule the delivery. Anyone there tomorrow?

Was at Keystone today checking in on the progress. Last action arrived yesterday so that last barrel can be fit to the action.

Custom thread protector blanks were being run on the Haas when I arrived in preparation for blending them to your barrels during front contouring.

Few more weeks and all of you will have your barrels in hand. Looking forward to all of you posting up targets!

I've got a couple hundred rounds of Center X on standby. I plan on testing off of a bench rest. I'll break it in with a hundred rounds or so of CCI then I plan on shooting a bunch of 5-shot groups and a couple 25-shot groups with the Center X. I'll also test with some SK varieties and some Eley Edge.

The first groups at 50yds with CCI SV were shooting ragged 10 shot holes after 10rds to zero. Its been a serious hammer. I did not have any centerX and frankly my goal was excellent accuracy with moderately priced match ammo. My barrel has surely achieved that. Ragged holes at 50 10 shots.

I hope I have the same luck. I have stacks of CCI sitting around waiting to get used up. I'd rather spend my ammo money on .308 lol.

Exactly. All depends what distance your shooting. When you go past 50yd is when your high priced match ammo is typically going to shine in my experience.

Have you had a chance to put together the video on barrel installation? Found this link which referenced DELETED PER REQUEST

How do you get everything lined up correctly, I did not see a keyway in the receiver or on the barrel.

Thanks for coordinating the group buy!

The barrel will line up on the feed ramp shelf. I will test fit mine and make sure everything lines up correctly and mark the receiver/barrel when test fitted so it all goes together perfectly and quickly at final assembly.

Duh ..... Reminder to self .... dont post until after the first cup of joe! Thanks for the clarity!

Nope didnt make the short list before heading out of town.

Please delete that video, none of that applies to gluing your CZ and is just going to confuse people. As I said before, it's as easy as putting on a band aid.

This is much easier if you have a vise with 2 pieces of cardboard or rubber inserts. Put your barrel in the vise 4" or so in front of the tenon with the muzzle angled slightly down toward the ground. The mag insert cut on the bottom of the barrel tenon should be facing down and extractor grooves should be at 3 and 9 o'clock.

Make sure you dont have any oil/grease inside front of the action where your about to insert the barrel tenon. Use some carb cleaner or similar and clean it out real good. Have your action ready with the bolt inserted and closed.

Now squirt Loctite 609 liberally on the barrel tenon and rub it 360 degrees around the tenon from the shoulder to the breach face with your finger. You cant put too much so apply a good amount. If you got some on the beach face wipe it off.

Now take your action and slide it onto the tenon until the shoulder contacts the front of the action. Twist slightly left and right to ensure the extractors are in the extractor grooves. Wipe off any excess. That's it. Leave it there for 24hr. Come back, put it in your chassis/stock and go shoot it. Its not coming out unless of course you didnt apply 609 liberally as instructed.

This is how you should have your barrel ready for install. Make sure tenon is also clean of all oils and dry.

It's super easy and takes 2min. Dont over think it. If you follow my above instructions you'll be g2g.

I jumped the gun reporting my barrel was on the way. The package was just my action.

Edit, my mistake, mail carrier put them in 2 different locations....

I do have the barrel
