Ya know, it's all fun and games and hilarious, until it happens to you. In my situation though, I didn't run a stop-sign, I had a green light. The girl in oncoming traffic also had a green light.
Except she didn't slow down, AND she turned left in front of me. The car that was beside me (to my left) swerved and drove into oncoming traffic to avoid her, whilst she plowed right into me.
I was on a bike. And yes, that song that goes "flying through the air, with the greatest of ease....." still hits nerves.
Practically everything was broken, except my left arm. Including my pelvis in 4 places.
No, I wasn't knocked out and I do remember it all. I remember being amazed at how much I flew, as well as how much air I got. 7.2 from the German judge.
