BC for 107 Sierras

Anyone have a fairly accurate BC for 107 Sierra MK 6mm I’ve tried the variable and it didn’t work out well

If you have a kestrel go in the bullet library and select it, and it should tell you. If you don't, ill do it and tell you when I get home from work tonight. Ill also check the applied ballistic bullet library book.

If possible, do not use the variable BC method that sierra advertises. Bryan Litz does a whole study about how using that introduces a margin of error in your true BC, as those are all just approximate.

I have a kestrel elite ballistic but I don't have link

I use .527 as a BC with my rifle as it seems to track with my ballistics out to 1200. So like most things, all published BC numbers are listed for general guidelines. You have to settle on your own match load and true the BC with the results you get from sending them down range.

I use .547 on several different 6mm using the 107. The old, non pointed 107 was .527bc. The new(2018) 107 pointed is ..547bc
