If possible, do not use the variable BC method that sierra advertises. Bryan Litz does a whole study about how using that introduces a margin of error in your true BC, as those are all just approximate.

I use .527 as a BC with my rifle as it seems to track with my ballistics out to 1200. So like most things, all published BC numbers are listed for general guidelines. You have to settle on your own match load and true the BC with the results you get from sending them down range.
