So, I'm sitting here watching the Dems have a melt down over Trump's comments on accepting dirt from a foreign power. Schumer is crying and whining on the Senate floor about the travesty of the POTUS's statement.

The thing that get's me is, why are we talking about "accepting dirt from a foreign power," and not about the fact that "our politicians are crooked enough, that they all have dirt that can be used against them"?

I mean, it's like asking "why do we have homeless drug addicts shitting on the streets", instead of asking "how did they get the drugs and become homeless"?

Call me simple, but I think people are asking the wrong question...

devil is in the details. The question asked if he would accept information from a foreign power not and adversary. If the UK called and said we have evidence that Kampala Harris fucked her way to where she is how is that not valid information? His question didn’t clarify if he would accept info from adversaries such as China or Russia. As far as I’m concerned at this point the dems would take anything from anyone, even bashar al asaad if it was damaging to trump. They r so fucking desperate it’s beyond sad. But yeah why would he even give that little weasel an audience.

Perhaps it's a matter of timing, getting it close enough to the election that the electorate will remember.

Perhaps it's the 5D chess we hear Trump is capable of playing.

I’m still on the fence if there’s really anything wrong with accepting dirt on political opponents from a foreign power, especially if it’s a gift with no strings. If he can accept dirt from domestic sources, why does it matter as long as their is no quid pro quo? But we do have laws preventing politicians from receiving gifts. Even if the dirt is freely given, it still has value. We do such a great job though, of enforcing those laws against politicians. That’s why politicians never get rich while in office despite the low salary and the prohibition on accepting things of value. Maybe the real sin here is doing it openly.

I read an interesting story here lately about a local politician (Republican) who went to office worth about $1 million.....after a couple terms in public office his net worth tops $14 million.

So I applied the same recipe and public searched the net worth of a dozen politician in both parties and was *ShOcKeD!* to discover that in the last 20+ years our "Representation" (you know them....By, For, and Of The People?) are becoming Filthy, Dirty, Fucking Rich by selling "We The People" to The Global Oligarchy. The dirt and political inside information is just another way our "Representation" is fleecing, controlling, and will intimately take the weapons from our hands, the food from out mouths, and kick US out into the street.

We ain't gonna vote our Way out of this.
