Was browsing the web looking for a tiny copy of a 210 or CZ75 and came upon the French Mle.1935A. (Not tiny) I love older pistols, especially ones that have had military use but have never heard about this piece.

Curious if anyone here has one and what their impression is.

Guessing this is a rare beast on this side of the pond. There are a couple on Gunbroker for a reasonable price. Interesting piece.

Not rare but most people pass them by because ammunition is unobtanium... not a tremendous demand for a pistol you can’t shoot. Buffalo Arms did a run a while back and it was $1.05 a round but it has been showing out of stock forever. You can always handload, but why? Doesn’t offer anything that pistols in a shootable caliber can do as well or better. if you needed to fill a space in a French Mil collection maybe. Otherwise pass.

Good info. I was under the impression Za Germans had some made/ converted to 9mm, which would make it viable. Otherwise, I totally agree.
