The tail and chompers aren't very beaverish . But it's certainly from Idaho.
Sounds like you need to get out and find some more beaver.
The beaver I've found is about an hour North , is it worth it based on what's available locally?

Guys I figured most of us to be nature lovers I can't believe how insulting we are being to that poor dead critter it's just not right.......
99% sure it's not a DEM . They're allergic to sage brush and work. This critter lived and thrived in the sage brush for years and still wears an honest death face . If I'm wrong, I'll apply fire and report back here .
Almost sure it's what we call here in French a "pékan". Smaller than a badger same bad attitude.
