Best Patriotic Movie in a while

There is nothing as patriotic as the original " RED DAWN " !!!

Funny you should mention that movie.
It's one of the ones that my close friends and I watch again and again.
I like how it was conceived by a bunch of SJW idiots as a slam against Bush
Yet it actually winds up being a slam against the entire deep state system and the whole government and hugely pro freedom and pro taking out all the swap creatures.

Original:

Midway (especially the credits with the Churchill quote)

Battle of the bulge

Every year when I watch the “live” documentaries about 9/11

Wife and kids know not to speak to me for a few hours, because I’m fucking pissed.

Blackhawk down when 2 Sniper’s know what’s going to happen and they go in anyway.
Turns my guts when I think of sacrifice for another american.

John Wayne “courage is knowing your going to die, and you saddle up anyway”

I can’t say it better than that.

Coming home from England today (family trip), kids want some souvenirs.

Walk down the street to a place with a Union Jack outside, the whole nine.

Wife gets there first with the kids.

Starts walking back towards me telling me I won’t go in, of course I’m confused.

Daughter (11) says “they have that taliban music playing, and mommy says you won’t shop there”.

^^^old navy flag shirt walking through Tower of London tour. Wife packed it for me.

Spoke to a bunch of people and 60-40 are pro trump. Or at least understand what he wants.

Most are pissed because the population voted on leaving the eu and the govt is dragging its feet.

Apparently it doesn’t get super muzzy until this/next week.
This is the week all the sleep away private schools close.
Then all the muzzy parents show up to play.
They come over and throw money around for the summer then go back to bullshit-a-Stan when school starts.

Spent yesterday in the hospital watching Turner Classic Movie station and their all day program of John Wayne westerns and historical patriotic movies.

What caught me.

In the westerns former Confederate characters were portrayed as the bravest most dependable soldiers.

In the historical based ones, a Robert Stack portrayal of John Paul Jones, and a short about the Decleration of Independence, the unsavory portrayal of slavery as Americas original sin that the FF came close to ending but just couldn't get there without causing a break in the fragile revolution movement.

Civil War was looked on as the crusade that corrected that sin.

I get it the Civil War is more complicated than a single issue cause but slavery became the issue.

"People shouldn't fear their governments; governments should fear their people"

Your government does fear their people. That's why the Swamp is so persistent.

Stay the course.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy ammo, which is kinda like the same thing... (line paraphrased from...)

The 2A is the Red Line. Cross it at one's peril.

John Wayne “courage is knowing you're going to die, and you saddle up anyway”

Kamikaze..., brave Sons of the Son of Heaven...

Respect your enemy; war is a democracy, and the enemy gets a vote, too.

Democracy is a war, and the enemy is always looking to invalidate your vote.

I also like "Act of Valor". That scene with the boats, when the team is extracting from the jungle, gave me chills. I actually stood up and said, "fuck yeah! Dont mess with murica bitches!"

They should re-make it with Nigel Farage playing V and Tony Blair as the Prime Minister/head of Government
