16 Camp Pendleton Marines arrested by NCIS for alleged human smuggling and drug offenses
The arrests follow the July 3 detention of two Marine grunts near the U.S.-Mexico border by Border Patrol.

A former USMC colonel explained to me that everybody, even the USMC, has their 10% shitheads.
True story. Served with some. Every group has their douche bags...
I want to know what the dudes in their units were doing. Wonder how long this was going on before they got caught. Gonna be pretty hard to keep that kind of shit quiet for very long.
Love that they had a mass formation and they pulled them out in front of the unit and put them in cuffs for all to see.
Had something similar happen to me.
1991 I was called up from IRR to go to Desert Storm.
All IRR Marines regardless of former MOS to get 6 weeks training as Infantry than become "Combat Casualty Replacements".
4 weeks in it was apparent the war was going to be quickly over and they told us we were in limbo.
Everyone reverted to civilianhood.
We were told we could go on libo, abide by the curfew restrictions in Tiajuana.
Of course three friends and I left TJ late, SP took our names, got to sleep in a bus terminal wrapped in one of those shitty multi colored TJ blankets.
Next formation the LT in charge, an exact match Al Bundy voice, calls the 4 of us out in front of the formation and says "Dont be late from Tiajuana Again!, Dismissed!"
Classic, was worried we would have to stay in or something.
Hope these Marines get absolutely crushed but at the same time Im thinking if justice falls hard on them.......than when will it eliminate the coup plotters and the politicians that are neglecting our immigration laws in the first place?
If the answer is never......just let them go.
Rule of law has no meaning.
