Anybody who complains about the URB is just a crybaby!
If you don't like what is happening, try to have the rules incorporate it into the rule book, otherwise STFU!
Case in point. Manager complaining that the team with the most runs is trying to pile it on by having runners on base, steal bases in order to score more runs! If I was the manager of the team in the lead, I would tell my team to NOT stop scoring runs until they were ahead by 12 runs! Why 12? That is the record for a team to come from behind and simply tie the game. They would have to score another run to break the record and as we all know, records were meant to be broken.
How about bunting to get on base in the 9th inning of a no-hit game? Again, as a manager I am getting paid, as is the rest of the team to WIN ball games. One doesn't just give up after 8 2/3 of the game. Baseball does not have a clock. Time will not run out. So anything one can do to win a game, DO IT! Besides, it is embarrassing to be on the losing end of a no-hitter!
I am sure there are plenty more examples and opinions about URB. So let's hear about them!
