ES Tactical DTA barrels?

What are your guys current opinions on ES Tactical's DTA barrels? Great, good, bad, issues, etc? Mostly interested in the K&P blanks they use now.

I chambered a 30 cal k&p blank I bought from them recently. Shoots great. No issues whatsoever.

I have a 6.5 cm. 26”. Tack driver. A 7 SAUM is on the way.

I'm waiting on my 300 prc barrel from ES Tactical for my DT. I've only ever owned Bartlein barrels spun up by SAC. I've been intrigued by ES tactical for awhile and decided to get the 300 prc barrel spun up by him. Obviously I can't comment yet, but I have confidence it will be a great barrel.

Yes, I did. Still developing a load for it. Haven’t been able to get to the range for the last 3-4 weeks or so. The barrel shows great promise. I originally started with reloader 33 and the 230 grain a-tips. I only had a quarter pound of 33 and went through that pretty fast. Of course I couldn’t find any when I needed to get more, but I did buy some vihtavuori N570 but have yet to shoot those loads with that powder.

I just got 3 barrels from him, a 243, 6 creedmoor and a 300 PRC. All are hammers!

[/QU Awesome reason i was asking because the price is way cheaper them short action custom and special purpose rifles and I was worried about es tactical not giving you 1/2 moa groups as small as 1/4 moa also what size twist did you get thank you

I have 4 SRS barrels from ES with a fifth on the way and I've had zero complaints. I've also bought his AI prefits and again, zero complaints. My next barrel will come from him too.

You do have to be aware that he's a one man shop, so when he says his lead times are 4 to 6 weeks, you're probably looking more at 6 to 8. If you're in a rush, look elsewhere, but be prepared to drop an extra $200, at least. For me, I'll keep the 8 pounds jug of powder worth of cash in my pocket and wait patiently for my barrel.

Yes, do not believe his lead times; they are a complete fallacy.
I ordered my DT barrel with a posted 3 week lead time and I’m currently on week 8 with no barrel....

Yes, I eventually received the barrel. If I remember correctly at around the 10 week mark.
I’ve only had the opportunity to put about 100 rounds of factory ammo through it at 100 meters, but so far no issues.
