I prefer the Vortex Razor 1-6 overall over those other options, feel free to give me a call at 916-670-1103 and I can help you pick the correct option for you. :)

The Burris 1-8 XTR2 would also be a very strong contender, based on your list. It comes in first or second focal plane, 34mm tube, choice of capped or uncapped turrets, true 1x, daylight bright illumination, made by LOW in Japan. It's a very feature loaded optic. And I've seen some phenomenally good pricing on them.

I have the 1-6 Razor as well. Always a solid optic. But I do prefer the XTR2 for 3 Gun.
I found a 1.5-8 in the 550 range. But it didnt say Japan on it....foesvthe xtr2 line have a high and mid range scope?

That's a different scope. That was their first 8x, made in the Phillipines. They used that for 2 or 3 years then released the 1-8 made in Japan. The LOW version is a true 1x and is shorter than the 1.5-8, among other things.
You and Doug just made my options harder. Thanks now i need a bigger budget to build a jack for my wife lol

I use two 1-8x LPVOs and a few 1-6x ones.

With 1-8x24 I use the Burris XTR II 1-8x24 that Doug has linked above and March 1-8x24 Shorty. Different price ranges to be sure and different strengths and weaknesses. XTR II is a fair bit bigger and heavier, but it has not skipped a beat and the reticle really works well with 5.56. March is comparatively tiny and a fair bit lighter. It also has a mrad-based reticle, so it is on my 6.5Grendel at the moment and I kinda like it there.

In terms of bang for the buck, Doug's price on the XTR II is hard to beat.
