Christ George Washington would of shot a wad on his horse seeing a map like that, NG should send a Big Fat Fuck You to the Governor in fact the NG should gather them all up and ask the POTUS for transport to GITMO to hold them in a secure location for Military Trials as Combatants against the Republic after all we are a civil society unless if they wish to see our Patriotism in the flesh.

seeing the way my countrymen in Virginia (by GOD!) are taking the fight to the treasonous fucks trying to undermine our BOR and CONUS. they have a fuckton more backbone than just about every other state i’ve seen....especially the “rocky mountain states”.

in my lifetime, i have yet to see anyone, anywhere react like the great patriots in Virginia (by GOD!) have. may GOD bless and watch over our great patriots there......regardless of how big or small their county is.

I'll never understand you east of the Rockies states. 95 counties in an area smaller than some of 1 county out west.

And we'll never understand how you Manifest Destiny people still haven't shoved CA off the continent.

Kidding aside, a lot of the counties and shit are from colonial times in one form or another, that's all it essentially boils down to. You can still see the British's borderline erotic fetish for bureaucracy and regulation where folks had to split dick hairs until individuals and communities had little they could call their own in such a contested geographical area.

Here's the updated map, not a huge difference but we're chipping away at the holdouts.

Speaking as one who lives in AZ in a county that is bigger then 3 states, 8 if you don't count water, I have to say I agree. What the hell is up with so many friggin counties??? I can't imagine how much money it cost's to run 100+ county administrations in Virginia.

On the plus side from what I see going on in Virginia counties being small seems to make them more accountable to the people living in them. Perhaps there is a happy medium?? No matter though to each their own.

As CB hinted at above, many of the counties were original land grants from the British crown. Amherst (Lord Amherst) Nelson (Lord Nelson) Govenor Dinwiddie, Campbell and so on. Originally, Virginia comprised most of what was the U.S and in size pissed on even Texas.

If I ever need skinny jeans or get a man bun styled, I know which two counties to go to now...

Oh and by the way, I hope those who voted "nay" in these two counties do realize that the food in their grocery stores comes from somewhere via roads. If they want to get froggy, shit can turn very interesting for them.

Much easier to drop their power. The results will compound rather quickly,...

This is big update... I'm surprised to see Suffolk county go 2A Sanctuary yesterday. Given the demographics and political leanings, it is a PURPLE county (and fairly big). There are 3 Democratic Lawmakers from that county - in the Senate, Ms Louise Lucas and in the House, Mr Clinton Jenkins and Mr Cliff Hayes Jr.

Now with this map, we are well over 40 Democratic lawmakers whose Counties are supporting the Constitution as 2A Sanctuaries.

I wonder if we could organize some email/letter campaign against the more exposed ones on this list? Certainly they must be sweating their political futures.

The size of your counties don't count for much. It's the starch in your back bone. You've proven you have it where you need it. God Bless You ! Keep their backs to the wall. (y)

Suffolk did not go 2A Sanctuary from what I was told. They put forth a resolution claiming they support the second amendment and would uphold the constitution. Isn't that the same thing the governor is saying? I don't think these maps being posted should be mixing "support" counties in with "sanctuary" counties. Support might as well mean we'll allow the state to do what they want since we will recognize it as constitutional.

Suffolk is a constitutional sanctuary city, it's basically the same thing just not as acute as the 2A sanctuary counties. In any county these resolutions are only as good as the conviction with which they are reinforced. If you're expecting your local politicians to do the heavy political lifting and protect you because you live in a sanctuary area, that's a really shitty plan imo. Once the heat's on we'll see who has a patriotic spine and who is just common slime bending for votes.

My understanding was 2A sanctuaries are stating no more infringements. And, again, isn't the governor claiming 2A support and constitutionality? I was told by a person at the Suffolk meeting the counsel basically said good luck in Richmond and you are on your own.

Yes, but these sanctuaries are posed in direct opposition to his legislation. It's semantics all the same until push comes to shove, I agree with that. The fact that we have to grovel for our rights because "The Constitution sez so" is bullshit, our rights are our own and no amount of delegation will ever change that. It's pageantry opposing pageantry, we are fighting in kind— and winning.

What I see is the awakening of a sleeping giant. Even Yamamoto knew there is a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Most firearms owners would give up breathing before giving up their arms. JMHO

You might as well post a map now that is 100% green because you won't have a single county say they are not going to abide by the constitution. My problem with the map is it is misleading as to the actual political climate. False positives.

The political leadership yea, but not the political climate as a whole. A majority of citizens all over VA are fucking livid, and those citizens collectively have the high ground because they can send a signal as a community that they will not suffer gubner dickhead's tyranny. In any group you have the dead fish, I'd rather have them than not, but you are correct that to count on every locality to stand strong is foolish. The only person who will preserve your rights is you and your citizen countrymen, no politician is coming to save us.

So far this has not cost anyone much. What remains to be seen, is if they actually pass these bills. If people are not stocking up on supplies, they are not very serious. Each side is waiting for the other to fold, just like always. At some point one side will grow some teeth. Who knows which one it will be.

I don't think people are willing to point to barrel of their guns at each other yet. If politicians were fearful they would not be continually doing this in the first place. Instead of direct violence, the govt will freeze your accounts, take your land, your drivers license, tax you, fine you, take your children away etc.

Wouldn't it be more accurate and informative if you colored the "support" counties red since they more than likely don't and won't have your back politically? Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see it all green myself but what use is wishful thinking?

i agree. full green for 2A sanctuary counties. maybe checkerboard green for counties that say they'll support 2a. either way, there's a LOT of green and it should send a strong message. no need to overstate or embellish, actually i think that hurts anyone's cause.
