We are sad to be losing you bro, but I understand. Your AO is worsening by the day and that is a real shame. I will mail you hotdogs if you request...

Opp short for city of opportunity because the letters wouldn't fit on the town hall and it's not a left turn at Albuquerque, but rather the Exxon to get to the beach. That place might as well be off the grid after the bypass went in. I miss it but do not think I could tolerate moving back.

I will next time we make it down. I looked it up and realized the owners names sound familiar. I was in school same same time just different grades.

Are we talking "Opp, Alabama"?

Safer than Deliverance GA..........
Depends on the situation. Get pulled over in Deliverance GA w/o a permit and a G17 tucked in between the seat and console you're alright as long as you don't have a purty mouf. Do that in AL, you better know somebody.

How much further is it to go up 59? It may be worth a little extra mileage to stay out of Atlanta.

Me and the House Wench were discussing how much better the trip would be if we could bypass ATL.
There are several ways, all a bit long. I doubt going through Chattynooger would be a lot better than ATL.
I think if I go all the way out to Murphy, I can drop down somewhere and miss Chatty and ATL.

Honestly, I hope I don't have a lot more trips before we are in LA permanent.

This cold weather has been killing my joints since I got back. It's all I can do to climb in my truck and go to work.

I would file my retirement papers this week if they weren't in a jam for February. They need me to run our stack test at the end of Feb. If I can make it that far, I'm pretty sure I'll be retiring. After that I gotta figure out whether to go ahead and file SS disability in NC, or move and file in Alabama. I tried to get a lawyer last year, but no one would talk to me until I had filed and had the requisite turn down and 12 month waiting period to refile. I know less than nothing about any of that process. I just know a half a dozen people who have SSD that are in better shape than me.
I hate the very thought of it all.

I'll be selling a lot of stuff in the coming months. My boat is sold, and one of my SPRs is sold. One of my 930 Miculeks are spoken for as well.
No I'm not selling my Anschutz, nor my 30-06.

Sounds like the plan is coming together, just may be a little slower than you'd like. Moving sucks; sell whatever wasn't passed down.
