One of my guys went to Home Depot last week. Was not allowed to buy more than 1 box of dust masks (10). One per customer.

He Complained to manager that one box doesn’t do a day in the shop when we are grinding or buffing.

Manager said that the Chinese are coming in and buying out entire stores and then sending to their relatives or posting on eBay for insane money.

Home Depot are limiting sales so that locals with real use for them can still get them. We got our case of 100, which is what we would normally buy. I was pleased to hear that HD was putting its ‘pro’ customers first vs profiteers and tampon-faces!

I can’t believe these things do much to stop virus anyway... just big globs of airborne spittle. But the psychological effect must be real so there ya go!

Both sides have proximity issues

I have two boys. Throughout their lives, i have always hugged them and made every effort to let them know i love them with all my heart. I bet that if there were someone taking pictures frequently of me giving my boys a hug, or time’s i’ve tickled them when they were little, that some pictures would look pretty damning.

With joe biden, he just constantly seems inappropriate. Video footage, not stills. I’ve not seen any video footage of trump that gives me the same vibe as biden puts off.

Anyways....back to the motivational stuff.....

This seems to me like a totally lost opportunity to make big money for American businesses.
Everybody get to work making masks as fast as you can and sell them to China.
Who cares if it's not your specialty, make them out of near anything and ship them over.
Broker deals to buy up everything you can find in the rest of the world and ship them over.

Much like I never understood why the Australian government doesn't just setup a buy all you can carry milk powder and baby formula store at the airports.

A NIOSH approved disposable respirator (dust mask) N95 is 95% efficient down to 0.3 microns... A lot of viruses are in this size range. Not sure about the Corona one. N99 is 99% efficient. The "N" means no oil mist in the air, ie metal cutting etc.

An old friend of mine lives in Shenzhen province and posted on FB that anyone who goes out in public without a face mask will be arrested.

John O'Neil hoisted his beer and said, "Here's
to spending the rest of me Life, between the legs
of me wife !"

That won him the top prize at the pub for the best
toast of the night !

He went home and told his wife, Mary, "I won the
prize for the Best toast of The night."

She said, "Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?"
John said, "Here's to spending the rest of me
life, sitting in church beside me wife."

"Oh, that is very nice indeed, John!" Mary said.

The next day, Mary ran into one of John's drinking
buddies on the street Corner. The man chuckled
leeringly and said, "John won the prize the other
night at The pub with a toast about you, Mary."

She said, "Aye, he told me, and I was a bit
surprised myself. You know, he's only been in
there twice in the last four years. "Once I had to pull him by
the ears to make him come, and the other time he fell
asleep".

All that, even engraving in the congressional library, and no auto ejectors. I can’t pull my own shells in my gayest tweed coat. I’ll have to buy two now and hand them back and forth to a boy in a slightly less gay tweed coat.
Did someone tell you they don’t eject? They actually have selective ejectors, so they only eject the fired shell.

I spent a fair amount time with Beretta this week at the safari club convention. Handled multiple $150k SO10’s(some were $100k more than that). Obviously most people don’t need or can’t afford one, but would you rather have a $150k canvas in a fancy frame hanging on your wall, or a fine firearm? Functional art any day of the week for me.
