So, no lights, no markings. $300,000 of taxpayer hardware dinged-up and a gang of LEOs to do what now? Seeds and stems offender? 5mph over? Or did they secure a Bona Fide Domestic Terrorist for a vacation to Gitmo? Sorry, I'm not feeling the motivation. Next year when that same footage is of some Class-6 felon in Virginia for an unregistered hi-cap magazine is it going to be as motivational?

Oops, I forgot the other $5 millon chase helicopter to immortalize the moment. I hope that guy was one heinous anus...

My dad did a stint as a medic and he did my toenails when I was a kid (got smashed in playing basketball). Haha lidocainne, what a luxury, all he had was scalpels and surgical scissors.

When a real doc complemented the x-rayed set on my 2nd grade broken arm I distinctly recall wishing he'd done a bad job so he'd knock it off with the home remedies.
My Dad worked at a MASH unit in Korea as an ambulance driver after he healed up from getting shot. They used any and everybody to help in surgery, and my Dad supposedly was good at stitching people up.

I did not enjoy giving him as much “practice” as I did while growing up. I distinctly remember him telling me to “Hold still and shut up!” while he stitched my head up after doing something stupid. His bed-side manner was just like every other military doctor I ever met... even if he wasn’t an actual doctor.

Look close. Wig wags are in the headlight/taillight housings. By the way they pulled off that maneuver, the amount of them and the familiar look of those trucks, I'd put money on someone in that SUV being a legit bad guy. Not that my opinion counts for much.

Someone with a little more interest and time to dig it up could probably find the back story.

A high-speed chase along Phoenix freeways resulted in the arrest of a man who was on the run since 2012, federal officials said. It came to an end along Interstate 10 west of Phoenix.
The U.S. Marshals identified him as 51-year-old Scott Rasmussen. He was convicted of wire fraud in 2004 in Harrisville, Utah. He later violated his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest in 2012, the U.S. Marshals Service said. The Harrisville Police Department was also looking for him on forgery and theft by deception charges.

Rasmussen had two guns with him and was threatening suicide.

A few minutes later, DPS was successfully used spike stripes, which reportedly punctured all four tires.

You can almost always expect that if you see multiple unmarked units as the chase vehicles that it’s not someone running from a minor traffic violation. If it was a traffic stop where someone took off, the lead vehicle (or at least the majority of vehicles in pursuit) will almost always be a marked unit because that’s who the guy took off from. Very few agencies will allow the lead vehicle in a pursuit to be an unmarked vehicle. They’re usually forced to back out to a secondary position as soon as a marked squad arrives to assist and take over primary car spot. Multiple unmarked vehicles giving chase and executing PIT manuevers like this indicate they were surveilling the subject and he ran.

I figured it was probably a USMS task force after a wanted felon. I’ve never seen any other unit utilizing almost exclusively unmarked pickups and SUVs.

wearing your seat belt while parked?

Someone’s gonna get a few days off work without pay. Sitting in the dark on the wrong side of the road, facing the wrong way. Driver shouldn’t have been on the shoulder, but that’s one dangerous place to sit. Catching a speeder is not worth that kind of danger...

I'm not sure if I'm clear about your opinion, can you explain it a different way?

J/k ??

Never close a contaminated wound...Cleansing first is critical . Tetanus update is also needed say every 10 years..JMHO
Was cutting a pile of six-eight trees blocking the trail and my buddy, who was supposed to be cutting limbs. He decided to cut one of the weight bearing trees in the back the once they all moved it kicked my saw down on my leg. I was cutting up from the bottom so i was able to control it pretty good but it did cut my thigh with a 6" slash only first layer or so deep. Cut myself some butterflys out of some duck tape and kept cutting. My doctor saw it a month later and said i did a great job on it:)

I believe the officer was rear ended while parked next to the curb.
Got hit head on. Video on the right of is front facing dash cam (you can see the push bar on the front of a Crown Vic). He’s parked facing oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.

Pretty fucked up what some jurisdictions will do for money under the guise of "safety". Putting their lives and the public’s at risk, at night, to stop someone committing the unforgivable sin of driving 5 mph over some arbitrary speed limit. Which 9 out of 10 times is set artificially low to begin with. Sorry for the rant, but this nonsense is all too common. If the city, county, state needs more money, then have the balls to raise taxes.
